IMPROVED LOOSE WHEEL NUT INDICATOR AND RESTRAINER
An apparatus (10) for visually indicating a loose wheel nut (57) on a wheel of a motor vehicle has a plurality of wheel nut engaging members (12, 14, 16, 18, 20). Each wheel nut engaging member is rotatable with a respective wheel nut to which it is engaged and has a pointer (26) for indicating a start position of the wheel nut engaging member. Any two adjacent wheel nut engaging members of the plurality are interconnected by an elongate member (28) which is resiliently flexible so as to define an endless configuration of spaced apart but interconnected wheel nut engaging members. In use, any loosening rotation of a first wheel nut (57) will cause the engaging member (12) which engages that wheel nut and its pointer (26) to rotate therewith, thereby providing a visual indication of a loosening of that wheel nut.
Positive locking grease plug
A plug assembly configured for installation in a hammer assembly, the plug assembly comprising a cylindrical plug and an anti-rotation component. The cylindrical plug may include a plug head and a plug body. The cylindrical plug may include a receiving feature located in the plug head. The anti-rotation component may include a first locking feature and a second locking feature. The first locking feature may be configured to fixably engage with the receiving feature. The second locking feature may be configured to engage with the hammer assembly.
PROTECTION SYSTEMS
A protection system including: a mount (20) adapted to be fixed to a wear panel (11); a wear pad (16); and a locking member; said mount (20) and said wear pad (16) having complementary engagement means (27 to 31 and 68 to 73) adapted to allow relative sliding movement between said mount (20) and said wear pad (11) from a release position to an engaged position; said mount (20) and said wear pad (11) each having an opening or recess (48, 86) therein adapted to receive said locking member, said locking member prevents sliding movement of said wear pad relative to said mount (20); and said mount further and said locking member each having at least one passage (51) adapted to receive therein a bolt (101); and whereby one or more bolts (101) extending through each said at least one passage secure said locking member to said mount.
Fastener systems and methods
A system includes a washer, a nut, a retainer structure, and a gasket. The washer has a bore extending between a distal end and a proximal end. A first section of the bore extends from the distal end to a shoulder portion. A second section of the bore extends from the shoulder portion to the proximal end. The shoulder portion defines an aperture. The nut is configured to be received in the first section of the bore. The nut includes a threaded bore configured to threadably engage a threaded shaft of a bolt. The retainer structure is configured to axially retain the nut in the first section of the bore of the washer. The gasket has a through-bore axially aligned with the bore of the washer and the threaded bore of the nut. The gasket is configured to be axially retained in the second section of bore of the washer.
STAY TIGHT THREADED FASTENERS
A male fastener, female fastener, and a plunger that is adapted to secure the female fastener to the male fastener, and to prevent unwanted loosening of the female fastener from the male fastener. The male fastener includes a shaft that may optionally include a plurality of protruding elements that extend outwardly from an external surface of the shaft. The protruding elements may be radially positioned in rows around a circumference of the shaft, to create a channel between the rows of protruding elements. The channel is adapted to receive a corresponding thread located within an aperture of the female fastener. The plunger is adapted to be inserted into a trench located between a set of protruding elements (or into multiple trenches located between multiple protruding elements). The plunger prevents the female fastener from rotating around the shaft in a direction towards the bottom portion of the male fastener.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PRELOADING A BEARING AND ALIGNING A LOCK NUT
An apparatus for providing a load on a bearing mounted to a shaft includes an attaching member releasably connectable to the shaft. A press mechanism is coupled to the attaching member and is configured to provide a compressive load to the bearing. An optical sending unit is configured to output a high intensity light to allow a user to locate a shaft slot of the shaft to align the press mechanism relative to the shaft when the attaching member connects to the shaft.
FORMWORK TIE
A tie nut of a formwork tie for connecting two formwork elements is secured on a tie rod to prevent inadvertent rotation by way of a form fit coupling that can be axially made to engage therewith.
ANTI-LOOSENING DEVICE AND PLUNGER PUMP
Embodiments of the present disclosure provides an anti-loosening device and a plunger pump. The anti-loosening device includes a first bracket, a second bracket and an elastic member. The first bracket includes a first clamping part defining a first accommodating space; a first connecting part extending in a first direction and fixedly connected to the first clamping part; and a limiting part fixedly connected to the first clamping part via the first connecting part, wherein the limiting part protrudes from the first connecting part in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The second bracket includes a second clamping part defining a second accommodation space, wherein the second clamping part is opposite to the first clamping part in the first direction; and a second connecting part extending in the first direction and fixedly connected to the second clamping part.
Fastener locking
A locking apparatus for locking the rotational position of a fastener component which is rotatable about an axis relative to a structure. The locking apparatus includes a collar and a rigid arm. The collar is configured to engage with the fastener component such that relative rotation of the collar and the fastener component is substantially prevented. The arm has a first end configured to engage with the collar such that rotation of the collar relative to the first end is substantially prevented, and a second end configured to engage with the structure such that rotation of the arm relative to the structure is substantially prevented. The collar has an inner surface having a first finite order of rotational symmetry about the axis, and an outer surface having a second, larger, finite order of rotational symmetry about the axis.
