Hole punch and also a method for the piercing of a workpiece which is present as a foam material and/or as a sandwich material and also a method for the manufacture of the hole punch
A hole punch and a method for piercing a workpiece wherein a hole punch includes a sheet metal part and a piercing body attached thereto which carries out the piercing function and which is provided with a thread cylinder or can be provided with a thread cylinder, for example by pressing a threaded pin into a centrally arranged passage of the hole punch, wherein the hole punch can also be formed in one piece as a piercing body with a sheet metal-like flange. Furthermore a method is claimed for the manufacture of the hole punch.
DIFFUSION BONDED FASTENER ASSEMBLY
A fastener assembly includes a bolt having a shaft and a head. The shaft has proximal and distal shaft ends and a shaft body, with the head at the proximal shaft end. At least a bondable portion of the shaft body is at least partially made of a bondable material. At least one collar has proximal and distal collar ends longitudinally separated by a collar body which includes a longitudinally oriented collar aperture extending through a thickness thereof between proximal and distal collar surfaces. The collar aperture defines an inner collar wall having a bondable portion which is at least partially made of a bondable material. At least the bondable portion of the shaft body is located inside the collar aperture. The bondable material of both of the inner collar wall and the shaft body is activated to bond the shaft and the collar into an integral fastener assembly structure.
Microcapsule type curable resin composition
A microcapsule type curable resin composition produces substantially no gases when applied to an adherend, e.g., to a threaded member, which is then tightened, moreover, due to exceptional coating properties to an adherend, does not give rise to coating irregularities. The microcapsule type curable resin composition contains (A) microcapsules encapsulating a curable compound (a), (B) a substance able to bring about curing of component (a), and (C) a binder able to adhere the microcapsules to an adherend, wherein the microcapsule type curable resin composition includes, per total 100 mass parts, (D) 1-25 mass parts of mica having average particle diameter of 10-150 m, and (E) 1-25 mass parts of an inorganic filler having average particle diameter of 3-50 m, the mass ratio of component (D) and component (E) being 0.2-2.0 of component (E) with respect to 1.0 of component (D).
THREADED FASTENER WITH HYBRID PATCH
A threaded fastener with a hybrid locking mechanism includes a shank having a threaded portion, a first locking mechanism disposed on the threaded portion, and a second locking mechanism disposed on the threaded portion extending over the first locking mechanism. The first locking mechanism provides a primary retention strength during an initial use of the threaded fastener and the second locking mechanism provides the primary retention strength during subsequent uses of the threaded fastener. A method of making the threaded fastener includes applying a first locking mechanism material on the shank and applying a second locking mechanism material over the first locking mechanism material on the shank.
MULTI-PATCH THREADED FASTENER
A multi-patch threaded fastener includes a shank having a threaded portion and two or more polymer patches disposed on the shank. The two or more polymer patches are configured to wedge against a mating threaded component to promote contact between non-patched threaded portions of the shank and the mating threaded component to resist removal from the mating threaded component. A method of making the multi-patch threaded fastener includes positioning two or more nozzles for dispensing a patch material at locations corresponding to desired patch locations on the shank, conveying the shank past two or more nozzles, and dispensing the patch material from each nozzle onto the shank to form the two or more polymer patches on the shank.
Mounting device for sub-frame
A mounting device for a sub-frame may include a mounting bracket positioned to correspond with a one side penetration opening formed at a front side inside member of the front side member, a reinforce panel provided to an upper surface of the front side inside member, a mounting bolt separated with a bolt part and a head by a flange which is positioned at a center thereof, joined to a circumference of a bolt opening of the mounting bracket through the flange on a state that the bolt part is inserted into the bolt opening of the mounting bracket, and joined on a state that the head is wedged through the penetration opening of the front side inside member to the welding opening of the reinforce panel, and a foam filler foamed by a heat treatment and filled in a space formed by the front side inside member, the mounting bracket, the reinforce panel, and a front side outside member.
Quick connect vehicle attachment
The quick connect vehicle attachment as disclosed herein generally includes a bayonet lug having a series of threads that engage a tow hook boss on one end and a locking pin protruding out opposite sides of an interface shoulder on another end for select slide-in reception into a bayonet housing and along a cam slot for locking engagement therewith in a pair of slotted receptacles under a spring-biased preload.
FASTENING ARRANGEMENT WITH AN AXIALLY AFFIXED COMPOUND-SQUEEZING DISK
A fastening arrangement with a screw having a shank with a front end that is to be inserted into a hole drilled into a substrate, and at least one thread, whereby the thread is arranged on the shank, and with a squeezing unit having a compound reservoir containing a compound for filling a gap that exists between the shank and the wall of the drilled hole, with a squeezing disk towards which the front end of the shank can be moved in order to squeeze the compound out of the reservoir, and having a holding element for fastening the squeezing disk in the drilled hole, whereby, arranged on the holding element, on the one hand, there is the squeezing disk and, on the other hand, a stop element that comes to rest against the opening of the drilled hole.
