BICYCLE END CAP
A bicycle end cap has a first end and a second end that is opposite to the first end for attaching to a bicycle line shape member. The bicycle end cap includes a tubular portion and an attachment structure. The tubular portion is arranged at the first end and defining a receiving space that is dimensioned to axially receive the line shape member from the first end. The attachment structure is configured to attach a pulling member having a cable portion and a head portion that has larger diameter than the cable portion. The attachment structure is configured to position the head portion relative to the tubular portion as the cable portion is pulled toward the second end.
Forced deployment sequence
A fixed sequence activation handle is described that forces a predetermined activation sequence. Such handles are suitable for use in the delivery of medical devices or for other application that require a fixed sequence of activations.
Bicycle end cap
A bicycle end cap has a first end and a second end that is opposite to the first end for attaching to a bicycle line shape member. The bicycle end cap includes a tubular portion and an attachment structure. The tubular portion defines a first opening that is arranged at the first end and a receiving space that is dimension to axially receive the line shape member from the first opening. The attachment structure is configured to attach a pulling member having a cable portion and a head portion that has larger diameter than the cable portion. The attachment structure is configured to position the head portion relative to the tubular portion as the cable portion is pulled toward the second end.
Control cable system incorporating stabilizer guide
A push-pull cable system including a cable assembly, a stabilizing element, and a guide member. The stabilizing element and guide member may maintain alignment of a wire of the cable assembly as it pushes against a mechanism resistive force that is not aligned with the wire itself. As a result, the cable system may be utilized in applications wherein space constraints prevent alignment of the wire with the resistive force vector of the mechanism.
CABLE END FITTING AND CABLE ABUTMENT AND METHOD OF SECUREMENT
A cable conduit end for securing a cable to a cable abutment of a latch is provided. The cable conduit end having: a housing; an alignment feature incorporated into a surface of the housing; a flexible retention feature integrally formed with the conduit end, wherein the flexible retention feature is spring biased away from the housing to a first position; and a radial retention feature extending outwardly away from the housing, wherein the flexible retention feature is located proximate to a first end of the housing and the radial retention feature is located proximate to a second end of the housing.
Wire support member for an environmental control system
A wire support member for an environmental control system includes a bracket having an inner surface, an outer surface, and a thickness. A first arm projects from the bracket, a first flange projects from a first end of the first arm. The first flange includes a first harness support opening therethrough. A second arm also projects from the bracket parallel to the first arm, and a second flange projects from a second end of the second arm. The second flange has a second harness support opening therethrough. A ratio of a diameter of the first harness support opening and of the second harness support opening to the thickness of the bracket optimizes the routing and support for the wiring.
Anchoring device for a transmission cable
An anchoring device for anchoring a sheath of a transmission cable to a bracket may include a sleeve coaxially connectable to the sheath of the cable, the sleeve having a plurality of tangs extending longitudinally and arranged in a circular configuration, the tangs each having a transversal surface defining a wall of a circumferential groove, the groove being able to receive a bracket and to secure the sheath of the cable from longitudinal movements relative to the bracket, the anchoring device may include a ring longitudinally movable relative to the sleeve between first and second longitudinal positions, and wherein the ring is able to force the tangs to move inward upon movement of the ring from the first to the second longitudinal position such that the diameter of the wall of the circumferential groove is decreased.
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFT CABLE CLIP
A shift cable clip for use in automatic transmission vehicles is described. In some embodiments, two clip segments encircle a circumference of a transmission shift-cable conduit end-fitting and attach to a transmission housing. Embodiments of the invention are lightweight, durable, efficient to manufacture, and labor-saving to install.
Cable-operated actuating device for a motor vehicle
The present invention relates to a cable-operated actuating device for a motor vehicle, in particular for a transmission, comprising: an actuating means having a recess for inserting a coupling connector of a cable control, a blocking means which is radially displaceable in the recess and in a radially outer position permits an axial displacing of the coupling connector in the recess and in a radially inner position axially fixes the coupling connector against an inserting direction in a positively connected and/or frictionally connected manner, a housing, which receives a connecting point between the coupling connector and the recess, and an actuating means for radially displacing the blocking means, which can be actuated outside the housing.
