Sliding bearing element
A sliding bearing element with a first layer having a radially inner surface includes a measuring device arranged on the radially inner surface of the first layer. The measuring device includes, in the order indicated, a first electrical insulating layer, a sensor layer and a second electrical insulating layer. A sliding layer is arranged on the second electrical insulating layer.

A sliding layer is arranged on the second electrical insulating layer.
Bearing assembly of a hinge coupling a first component and a second component
A bearing assembly of a hinge coupling first and second components includes an outer ring secured to the second component having an axial primary bore with a primary inner surface. An inner ring axially rotates, and has a primary outer surface rollingly contacting the primary inner surface, defining a primary sliding path with a primary friction coefficient. The inner ring includes a secondary axial bore with a secondary inner surface. An inner shaft in the secondary bore is secured to the first component and is axially rotatable. The inner shaft has a secondary outer surface rollingly contacting the secondary inner surface defining a secondary sliding path with a second friction coefficient. One of the sliding paths has a triboelectric layer surface frictionally generating an electrical current when that sliding path is engaged. A transmission element transmits, to a failure detection system, a signal due to such electrical current.
JOURNAL BEARING AND ROTARY APPLIANCE USING A JOURNAL BEARING
A journal bearing includes an oil supply nozzle, having an oil distribution part which extends in an axial direction of the rotation shaft and supplies lubricating oil, and a pad, provided at the rear side of the oil supply nozzle, in a rotational direction of the rotation shaft and supporting the rotation shaft rotatably. The inner periphery face of the pad, which opposes the outer periphery face of the rotation shaft, has an opening side face, in which the radial direction spacing between the inner periphery face and the outer periphery face of the rotation shaft becomes smaller, from the front end face of the pad, located at the front side in the rotational direction of the rotation shaft, toward the rear side in the rotational direction, and between the oil distribution part and the pad, the journal bearing has a bubble discharge path which discharges air bubbles.
SYSTEM FOR DETERMINING AT LEAST ONE DEFECT OF A BEARING AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A system for determining at least one defect of a bearing providing a first ring and a second ring capable of rotating concentrically relative to one another, first and second distance sensors mounted on the first ring of the bearing for measuring first and second differential distances between the first ring and the second ring, a storage device for storing each measured differential distance, a device configured to determine a first temporal profile of a radial relative displacement between the first and second rings, and a second temporal profile of an axial relative displacement between the first and second rings according to the stored measured differential distances in the storage device, and a device that identifies a defect of the bearing from the temporal profile.

BEARING ASSEMBLY FOR A THRUST BEARING
A bearing assembly for a turbo-engine with a bearing and parts of a bearing temperature detecting device. The bearing includes a main body having a thermoplastic bearing layer. A space is defined in the interior of the main body and of the thermoplastic bearing layer for accommodating parts of the bearing temperature detecting device. The space has a through hole having a first opening in the thermoplastic bearing layer and a second opening located in the main body. The parts include a temperature conducting element, a temperature sensor, and a securing fixture that attaches the temperature conducting element. The first opening of the through hole has a chamfer and the first end of temperature conducting element has a head which is correspondingly shaped to the chamfer in a form fitting manner. The center-axis of the temperature sensor extends transversely to the center-axis of the temperature conducting element.
Guide Device And Mechanical System Comprising Such A Device
A guide device includes: a metal component in the form of a bush provided with a friction surface intended to receive a mating part in frictional contact by sliding with oscillation; a wear sensing system of the friction surface having one or more sensors; and a wireless communication system connected to the detection system and configured to transmit information relating to the wear of the friction surface out of the guide device. The sensor or sensors are arranged exclusively on one longitudinal side or on two longitudinal sides of the bush, each longitudinal side being defined over at most two fifths of the length of the annular bush.
