Multi-directional ball rotation apparatus for maneuvering an item
A multi-directional ball rotation apparatus designed to maneuver an item in a plurality of directions is provided. The ball rotation apparatus includes a main housing, a first motor coupled to the main housing and having a first rotatable spindle, a shaft rotatably mounted to the main housing and operably connected to the first spindle of the motor, and a spherical member coupled to the shaft and designed to engage the item. The first spindle of the first motor is designed to rotate in a first direction to rotate the spherical member and item in a first direction. The first spindle of the first motor is designed to rotate in a second direction to rotate the spherical member and item in a second direction.
Integrated blade root bearing carrier assembly
One embodiment is a bearing carrier assembly including a circular shield having top and bottom surfaces; and a number of bearing separators integrated with the bottom surface of the shield, wherein each pair of bearing separators defines a receptacle for receiving and retaining a bearing therewithin and wherein the shield blocks the received bearings from debris and retains lubricant around the received bearings. Each of the bearing separators may include a spacer element for separating adjacent ones of the bearings. The bearing carrier assembly may be made up of a number of carrier sections that interconnect to form the bearing carrier assembly.
Bearing device
A bearing device includes an annular hub cap facing an inner ring. An inner annular surface of the hub cap abuts a part of one end surface of the inner ring which extends from an inner peripheral edge to an intermediate position located on the way from the inner peripheral edge to an outer peripheral edge. An annular adhesive retaining portion is formed between the area extending from the intermediate position to the outer peripheral edge of one end surface and at least an inclined annular surface of the hub cap.
Bearing assembly for supporting a screw-compressor rotor and method for assembling a screw compressor
A bearing assembly for supporting a screw-compressor rotor includes a shaft having a center of mass, at least one angular contact ball bearing mounted on the shaft, and at least one cylindrical roller bearing mounted on the shaft. A spacing from the angular contact ball bearing to the center of mass is shorter than a spacing from the cylindrical roller bearing to the center of mass.
Toroidal continuously variable transmission
In a toroidal continuously variable transmission including at least one transmission unit including: an input disc and an output disc disposed coaxially; and a power roller tiltably interposed between the input disc and the output disc and configured to transmit a driving force from the input disc to the output disc, an integrally rotating member disposed so as to be spaced apart in an axial direction from at least one disc of the input disc and the output disc of each transmission unit and configured to rotate together with the at least one disc, and an annular interposed member provided between the at least one disc and the integrally rotating member and configured to rotate together with the at least one disc, are provided, and the interposed member is formed with a balance adjustment portion capable of adjusting weight balance in a circumferential direction.
Roller, roller device, link chain, and use of a link chain as a conveying chain
A roller device comprises: an attachment bolt; a roller mounted on the attachment bolt, wherein the roller is configured as a roller unit including at least one attachment bush, a bearing, and a roller; and a fastening system to releasably fasten the bush of the roller unit to the attachment bolt. The fastening system comprises a clip fastening system to mount the roller unit on the attachment bolt without using tools. The clip fastening system comprises a radially encircling groove in the inner surface of the attachment bush, a radially encircling groove in the surface of the attachment bolt, and a flexible securing ring.
Submersible pump and bearing arrangement
A submersible pump includes a bearing arrangement and a rotor shaft. The bearing arrangement includes a bearing cover, a bearing flange, and one or more bearing elements, each bearing element having an inner bearing ring, an outer bearing ring and a roller element. The rotor shaft is rotatably supported in the one or more bearing element about an axis of rotation extending in a longitudinal axial direction so that the inner bearing ring is configured to rotate along with the rotor shaft in an operating state. The bearing element is arranged at the bearing flange such that the bearing cover tensions each outer bearing ring in a longitudinal axial direction and such that a peripheral gap having a predefined axial width is formed in a radial direction between the outer bearing ring and the bearing cover and between the outer bearing ring and the bearing flange.
Scribe saw head assembly for cutting loins
A scribe saw head assembly is provided for a loin puller and has substantially reduced wear and increased life of the assembly components. A pinion assembly includes a pinion shaft and a thrust bearing. The shaft has a flange to support the thrust bearing, which is retained by a pair of retainers. The flange and thrust bearing provides constant contact between the pinion shaft and the standard of the scribe saw assembly, prevents side to side movement of the pinion shaft, and prevents longitudinal floating of the pinion shaft.
AXLE ASSEMBLY AND A UNITARY YOKE-SHAFT
A unitary yoke-shaft and an axle assembly having a unitary yoke-shaft. The unitary yoke-shaft includes a shaft and a yoke. The shaft extends along an axis. The yoke extends from the shaft. The yoke is integrally formed with the shaft such that the yoke and the shaft are a unitary one-piece component.
