Assembly with one shaft and one radial ball bearing
An assembly has a radial ball bearing including a bearing inner ring, and a rotatable shaft with a shaft end region with a bearing seat. The bearing seat has a shoulder on one side, on which the bearing inner ring of the radial ball bearing is seated for supporting the shaft. The bearing seat is shortened in the longitudinal direction relative to the radial ball bearing, and extends toward a height of the radial ball bearing. The bearing seat terminates at a distance (L) from an orthogonal projection from the proximalmost points of a distalmost row of balls onto the bearing seat surface such that L=k*D, wherein k is in a range between 0.7 and 0.5.
Rotational structure, assist system, and robot
A rotational structure is configured such that a hollow portion, in which a base member is opposed to a rotational member, is formed around a shaft member. An encoder provided in the hollow portion includes a detection target member rotated together with one of the rotational member and the base member and having a physical quantity changing in a circumferential direction, and a detector capable of detecting the physical quantity of the detection target element and rotated together with the other of the rotational member and the base member.

Uptower crane and rotor lock for wind turbine component replacement
A method for performing uptower maintenance of a wind turbine in order to replace the main bearing on the turbine shaft is disclosed. Embodiments of this method to perform maintenance may include installing a rotor lock to resist rotation of the main shaft during maintenance, providing a lifting device in order to elevate the main shaft, removing the main bearing from its main bearing housing, and installing a replacement split main bearing. A crane may also be installed uptower to assist in the maintenance.

STRUT BEARING DEVICE, AND VEHICLE STRUT SUSPENSION
In a strut bearing device, an upper spring sheet made of steel has a cylindrical part and a disc part. The cylindrical part has, at an upper part thereof, an engagement hole penetrated in a radial direction. A lower case of a strut bearing has a cylindrical member fitted along an inner peripheral surface of the upper part of the cylindrical part. The cylindrical member has, at its outer peripheral surface, an engagement projection that is engaged with an engagement hole. Relative movement of the upper spring sheet and the lower case in an axial direction and in a circumferential direction is restricted in a state where the engagement projection is engaged with the engagement hole.
Rolling Bearing
A rolling bearing 1 includes an outer ring 1A, an inner ring 1B, a plurality of rolling elements 1C, and a seal member 1D. The outer ring 1A includes a first outer ring 10 and a second outer ring 20. The inner ring 1B includes a first inner ring 30 and a second inner ring 40. The seal member 1D includes an annular base portion 61, 71 fixed to one bearing ring which is one of the outer ring 1A and the inner ring 1B, and an annular protruding portion 62, 72 protruding from the base portion 61, 71 and extending toward a first region which is a region opposing the one hearing ring in another bearing ring which is the other of the outer ring 1A and the inner ring 1B.
WHEEL CARRIER DEVICE AND BEARING DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE, IN PARTICULAR FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE, AND A VEHICLE, IN PARTICULAR MOTOR VEHICLE
A wheel carrier device for a vehicle, with at least one wheel carrier which has at least one bearing point at which at least one wheel bearing is to be mounted for rotatably mounting a wheel hub, wherein the wheel carrier is at least partially surrounded on the outer circumference by at least one thermal insulation element.

Wheel Bearing Device
A wheel bearing device has a vehicle-body-mounting flange 5b with a plurality of ears 10 discontinuously formed in a circumferential direction on an outer circumferential surface of the outer member 5. An outer circumferential surface 11 on the outer side of the outer member is tapered and formed such that a diameter of the outer member gradually decreases in a direction to an outer side. Ridges 16 protrude from a fitting surface 12 toward the outside in a radial direction. The ridges 16 are formed between the plurality of ears 10. The ridges 16 are forged to smoothly connect to the outer circumferential surfaces of the plurality of ears 10. Ribs 15 are forged on inner-side outer circumferential surfaces of the plurality of ears 10.
