A pitch bearing for coupling a rotor blade to a hub of a wind turbine includes an outer race mountable to the hub and an inner race rotatable relative to the outer race and mountable to the rotor blade. The inner race is formed by first and second ring components, each of the first and second ring components having an outer annular face and an inner annular face. The first and second ring components are joined together at the inner annular faces such that the inner annular faces are opposed and opposite each other. A layer of friction enhancing material is inserted/disposed between the opposed inner annular faces, the friction enhancing material including an abrasive particulate component that increases a coefficient of friction to minimize slippage between the first and second ring components.

The seal assembly includes an abradable coating adjacent the contact area, and the abradable coating includes magnetic particles.

This half thrust bearing having a half-ring shape has: a sliding surface for receiving force in the axial direction; a back surface opposed to the sliding surface; and a resin covering layer on the sliding surface. The half thrust bearing is characterized in that the thickness of the resin covering layer is greatest at the circumferential central part of the half thrust bearing, and becomes lesser toward both circumferential ends of the half thrust bearing. The present invention also pertains to a thrust bearing, a bearing device, and an internal combustion engine.
ANTI-ELECTROLYTIC CORROSION ROLLING BEARING
An anti-electrolytic corrosion rolling bearing is provided which includes an inner ring and an outer ring, rolling elements, and a thermal-sprayed ceramic film having electrical insulating properties, and disposed on one or each of the inner peripheral surface of the inner ring and the outer peripheral surface of the outer ring. The thermal-spray material forming the thermal-sprayed ceramic film contains, as the main component of thereof, alumina particles having particle sizes of 5 to 60 μm and an average particle size of 30 to 60 μm. The thermal-sprayed ceramic film is densified by filling the pores between the alumina particles, with a predetermined amount of glassy melts of a metal oxide having a melting point lower than that of the alumina, such as silica, yttria, titania or zirconia, and having an average particle size of 5 to 40 μm.

An anti-electrolytic corrosion rolling bearing includes an inner ring and an outer ring, rolling elements, and a thermal-sprayed ceramic film having electrical insulating properties, and disposed on one or each of the inner peripheral surface of the inner ring and the outer peripheral surface of the outer ring. A planetary transmission for a wind turbine includes a bolt having a cylindrical outer surface and a gear having a cylindrical inner surface rotatably supported on the outer surface of the bolt. The cylindrical outer surface of the bolt and the cylindrical inner surface of the gear are configured to function as a plain bearing, and one or both of these surfaces may include a sliding layer formed from a low friction material.
SLIDING ELEMENT COMPRISING POLYMER OVERLAY
A bearing element may include an overlay layer which forms a bearing surface against a steel journal or the like. The overlay layer may be formed from a bearing material comprising a polymer matrix of polyamide-imide polymer material, melamine cyanurate particulate, and metal oxide particulate. A method of forming the bearing element comprising the bearing material are also provided.
