BEARING ASSEMBLY FOR A THRUST BEARING

A bearing assembly for a turbo-engine with a bearing and parts of a bearing temperature detecting device. The bearing includes a main body having a thermoplastic bearing layer. A space is defined in the interior of the main body and of the thermoplastic bearing layer for accommodating parts of the bearing temperature detecting device. The space has a through hole having a first opening in the thermoplastic bearing layer and a second opening located in the main body. The parts include a temperature conducting element, a temperature sensor, and a securing fixture that attaches the temperature conducting element. The first opening of the through hole has a chamfer and the first end of temperature conducting element has a head which is correspondingly shaped to the chamfer in a form fitting manner. The center-axis of the temperature sensor extends transversely to the center-axis of the temperature conducting element.

Chassis link for a motor vehicle

A chassis link for a motor vehicle having load introduction elements connected by a straight profile portion of fiber-reinforced plastic. The profile portion and load introduction elements are connected via an adhesive connection in a common connection portion in which an end portion of the load introduction element and an end portion engage another in positive engagement. On both sides of a profile portion neutral fiber plane, the adhesive connection has longitudinal adhesive layers extending in a longitudinal direction of the profile portion and parallel to one another in a vertical. In vertical direction of the profile portion the longitudinal adhesive layers have a cross-sectional area becoming larger with increasing distance from the neutral fiber plane so that a relief is brought about in regions of the adhesive connection which have a relatively large distance from the neutral fiber plane in vertical direction of the profile portion.

Spherical bearing having an axially offset inner member

A spherical bearing includes an inner member that has an exterior surface extending a first width between axial ends thereof and having a first central plane located equidistant between the axial ends. The spherical bearing includes an outer member with a inner surface having a maximum inside diameter at an apex plane and extending a second width between opposing ends thereof and having second central plane located equidistant between the ends thereof. The inner member is disposed in an interior area of the outer member. The first central plane is coplanar with the apex plane and is axially offset from the second central plane. One of the opposing axial ends of the inner member is located entirely in the interior area and axially inward from ends of the outer member when the inner member is angularly misaligned relative to the outer member at non-zero angles up to 7 degrees.
