Adjustment drive for a steering column, and steering column for a motor vehicle
An adjustment drive for a steering column may include a drive unit having a threaded spindle that is supported in a gearbox housing at a bearing portion so as to be rotatable, with the threaded spindle including a threaded portion with a spindle thread that is axially adjoined to a shaft portion on which a gear wheel is arranged in a rotationally secure manner. The gear wheel meshes with a drive wheel that is coupled to a motor. Between the threaded portion and the gear wheel a peripheral bearing groove with a groove base may extend between groove flanks thereof. The bearing portion may be disposed in the bearing groove in a region of the groove base, and the bearing portion may be supported in a sliding manner in a bearing opening of a bearing plate that engages radially in the bearing groove.
Rolling Bearing
A rolling bearing includes a cage formed by coupling a first and a second division pieces into which the cage is divided in an axial direction. At least the first division piece is provided with a protruding portion extending in an axial direction toward the second division piece and having a locking portion formed at a tip of the protruding portion with the locking portion protruding toward a radially outer side. The second division piece is provided with a locked recessed portion in which the locking portion is locked. On an inner peripheral surface of the first division piece, an avoiding recessed portion is formed which allows avoidance of interference of the inner peripheral surface of the first division piece with an inner ring when the first division piece is tilted toward a radially inner side in order to lock the locking portion in the locked recessed portion.
RETAINING ELEMENT, ASSEMBLY AND METHOD
A retaining element for retaining a component within a receiving part, the retaining element including: a neck portion to be received within a notch formed in the receiving part; a first head portion coupled to the neck portion end and defining a first shoulder; a second head portion coupled to another neck portion end and defining a second shoulder, wherein the first and second shoulders oppose one another and are to abut first and second surfaces of the receiving part so as to engage the retaining element with the receiving part; wherein the first and/or second head portions include a retaining tab having a retaining surface, wherein the retaining tab has a receiving position for receiving the component and retaining position for retaining the component; wherein, in the retaining position, the retaining tab extends beyond the neck portion so the retaining surface abuts the component surface to retain the component.
CHASSIS LINK FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A chassis link for a motor vehicle having load introduction elements connected by a straight profile portion of fiber-reinforced plastic. The profile portion and load introduction elements are connected via an adhesive connection in a common connection portion in which an end portion of the load introduction element and an end portion engage another in positive engagement. On both sides of a profile portion neutral fiber plane, the adhesive connection has longitudinal adhesive layers extending in a longitudinal direction of the profile portion and parallel to one another in a vertical. In vertical direction of the profile portion the longitudinal adhesive layers have a cross-sectional area becoming larger with increasing distance from the neutral fiber plane so that a relief is brought about in regions of the adhesive connection which have a relatively large distance from the neutral fiber plane in vertical direction of the profile portion.
Combined insulator and conductor assembly for bearings with encased insulator
A combined insulator and conductor assembly for a bearing disposable between a shaft and a housing includes an annular insulator disposeable about the bearing outer ring and having inner and outer circumferential surfaces and formed of an electrically insulative material or having one or more insulative layers to prevent electric current flow between the outer ring and the housing. A conductive carrier includes a cylindrical portion having an inner surface disposed about the insulator outer surface and an outer surface disposeable against the housing inner surface and a disk portion extending radially inwardly from the cylindrical portion having an inner radial end spaced outwardly from the shaft. An annular conductive brush subassembly is coupled with the carrier disk portion and includes a plurality of electrically conductive fibers contactable with the shaft outer surface to provide a conductive path between the shaft and the carrier, and thereafter to the housing.
PIVOT CRADLE BEARING AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PIVOT CRADLE BEARING
A pivot cradle bearing (1) having a pivoting element (2) which is mounted to pivot in a housing (3) is provided in which an inner bearing shell (7), on which rolling bodies (4) are rolling, is held on the pivoting element (2). The inner bearing shell (7) is held by rivets (10) in a form-fitting manner on the pivoting element (2) in the circumferential direction of the bearing shell (7).
Insulating device for a bearing
An insulating device for a bearing mountable within a housing, the bearing having an inner ring and an outer ring with an outer circumferential surface and opposing axial ends and a plurality of rolling elements disposed there between. The insulating device comprises: a first annular part, which is adapted to be in contact to the outer circumferential surface of the outer ring, and a second annular part, which is also adapted to be in contact to the outer circumferential surface of the outer ring. The first and second part form the insulation device which is adapted to contact, in an assembled state of the bearing in the housing, both the outer ring and the housing. The first part is thermally conductive and electrically insulating and the second part is electrically insulating and less thermally conductive than the first part or is not thermally conductive.
CLOSURE ELEMENT FOR A BALL-AND-SOCKET JOINT, AND BALL-AND-SOCKET JOINT HAVING A CLOSURE ELEMENT
A closure element (1, 28) for a ball joint (16) in a vehicle. The closure element has a receptacle (2, 29) for accommodating an electronic component (6). To be able to reduce the effort and cost of creating an interface, between the closure element and the electronic component, the closure element (1, 28) has a receptacle (2, 29) which is made of a plastic material and is injection-molded onto one side (3) of the closure element (1).
Roller bearing
A roller bearing (2) having a sleeve (5), by which a rolling element raceway is formed, and a lid (1) held to the sleeve by a snap-on connection, wherein the lid has securing projections (17), which are directed outward, which protrude beyond the sleeve (5) in the radial direction and are provided for axially fixing the lid in a housing (4) surrounding the sleeve.
