CLEARANCE GAGE

A clearance gage that includes an elongated shaft having a first end and a second end, a gage element connected to the first end of the elongated shaft, where the gage element defines a first width and a second width measured perpendicular to the elongated shaft, where the first width is larger than the second width, where a thickness of the elongated shaft is not more than the second width, where the first width defines a size of the gage element to assess a gap clearance between two components, and a marker connected to the elongated shaft, where the marker is positioned at a predetermined distance from the gage element along the elongated shaft, where the marker defines a marker width measured in a direction perpendicular to the elongated shaft that is greater than the second width of the gage element.

TAPER ROLLER BEARING

A taper roller bearing includes: an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of taper rollers in which a cavity portions are formed on a large end surface, and an annular cage. The cage includes a small-diameter annular portion on one axial side, a large-diameter annular portion which is positioned on the other axial side and on the outer side in the radial direction of the large flange, and a plurality of column portions. An outer diameter of an axial inner surface included in the large-diameter annular portion is greater than a diameter of a virtual circle that links outer end portions in the radial direction of the cavity portions of the plurality of taper rollers.

Gearboxes for aircraft gas turbine engines, in particular arrangements for journal bearings such gearboxes, and related methods of operating such gearboxes and gas turbine engines. A gearbox for an aircraft gas turbine engine includes: a sun gear; a plurality of planet gears surrounding and engaged with the sun gear; and a ring gear surrounding and engaged with the plurality of planet gears, each of the plurality of planet gears being rotatably mounted around a pin of a planet gear carrier with a journal bearing having an internal sliding surface on the planet gear and an external sliding surface on the pin.

Bearing assembly
11326644 · 2022-05-10 · ·

A bearing assembly includes a rolling bearing having a bearing ring fitted to a mating member, i.e., a shaft or a housing, with a clearance fit. Of the bearing ring and the mating member, the bearing ring has a flank face that separates a fitting surface of the bearing ring across the entire width thereof. The flank face defines a radial gap between the bearing ring and the housing. In a load receiving region where the radial gap remains, a portion of the bearing ring which is deformed in a wave-shaped pattern is kept out of contact with the fitting surface of the housing. The wave-shaped deformation of the bearing ring does not act as traveling waves that cause creep of the bearing ring.

Thin-wall bearing and processing method thereof

A thin-wall bearing, including an outer ring and an inner ring. The inner ring surface of the outer ring is provided with an outer ring raceway, and the outer ring surface of the inner ring is provided with an inner ring raceway. A steel ball and a cage for installing the steel ball are arranged between the outer ring raceway and the inner ring raceway. A plurality of screw holes are evenly distributed in a circle around the side wall of the outer ring, and knurled screws are provided in the screw holes, respectively. The fit between the knurled screw and the screw hole 10-Φ9 is to be N6/h5. The radial clearance of the thin-wall bearing is greater than or equal to 0.01 but less than or equal to 0.09. A processing method of the thin-wall bearing.

BEARING ASSEMBLY AND ROTARY FLUID PUMP

A bearing assembly may be provided for mounting a rotor which can be rotated about a rotational axis. In particular, for a rotary fluid pump or rotary blood pump comprising: a main body, a bearing element which can be displaced relative to the main body in the direction of the rotational axis for receiving the rotor, and an adjusting device which is connected to the bearing element for displacing the bearing element in the direction of the rotational axis by a predefined distance, wherein the predefined distance is <=500 micrometres.

SLIM FAN AND OIL BEARING STRUCTURE OF FAN
20210348621 · 2021-11-11 ·

An oil bearing structure of a fan includes a shaft seat, a rotating shaft, and an oil bearing. The shaft seat includes a boss. A middle portion of the boss defines a slot. One end of the rotating shaft is inserted into the slot. Another end of the rotating shaft is a free end. The oil bearing is sleeved on an outer periphery of the rotating shaft. An axis of the rotating shaft and an axis of the oil bearing are perpendicular to the shaft seat. An effective length of the oil bearing and the rotating shaft is 50%-70% of a length of the fan.

Rolling apparatus with profiled V-guide

A profiled rolling apparatus for lowering rolling resistance in track-guided, load-bearing movement applications. The rolling body, as part of a track roller, cam follower, caster wheel, or the like, has a radial groove (e.g. a V-shape with some internal angle) on which a non-linear profile is implemented. Profiles for various embodiments may be, but are not limited to, circular arcs, polynomials or other mathematical functions, or made up of multiple shorter linear and/or arc segments, creating a convex or concave contour on either side of the groove. Such crowning profiles may additionally or alternatively be implemented on the guiding track.

Shaft Bearing Point and Shaft Bearing

A shaft bearing point has a radial shaft bearing in which a drive shaft is rotatably supported relative to a machine housing. The radial shaft bearing is arranged directly or indirectly in a machine housing wall separating a lubricant space from a lubricant-free space. The radial shaft bearing has a lubricant side facing the lubricant space, and a seal side facing away from the lubricant space, in the axial direction, and a radial shaft seal is provided which is arranged at an axial distance to the seal side such that a lubricant chamber is produced between the seal side and the radial shaft seal ring in the axial direction. The lubricant chamber is equipped with a chamber separating wall. The chamber separating wall separates the lubricant chamber into a storage chamber, which is arranged between the seal side and the chamber separating wall, and a seal chamber, which is arranged between the chamber separating wall and the radial shaft seal ring. The storage chamber and the seal chamber are fluidically connected together via a separating wall throttle. The separating wall throttle has an annular gap as a fluid-conducting connection between the two chambers. The annular gap is formed between the chamber separating wall and the drive shaft and has a permeable height, which is greater than 0.1 mm and less than 3 mm, in the radial direction.
