BEARING, COUPLIING MECHANISM FOR USE THEREIN, AND PRELOAD APPLICATION METHOD FOR USE IN COUPLING MECHANISM
Proposed is a novel coupling mechanism capable of applying a preload to a ball portion and a socket portion which constitute a coupling mechanism of a titling pad bearing, without using a spring element.
SELF-ALIGNING ROLLER BEARING
Provided is a self-aligning roller bearing for supporting a main shaft of a wind power generator, the self-aligning roller bearing including an inner ring, an outer ring, two rows of rollers, and retainers. Each of the rollers has an outer peripheral surface formed with a DLC coating having a multilayer structure. The DLC coating has a film thickness of 2.0 μm or larger. A base material of each of the rollers has an external surface having a surface roughness of Ra≤0.3 and RΔq≤0.05. The DLC coating having the multilayer structure includes layers having stepwisely increasing film hardnesses such that a layer situated closer to outside has a higher hardness.
Tapered roller bearing
A difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of arithmetic mean roughness Ra of an annular surface region in contact with a larger flange surface, in a larger end face of the tapered roller, is not greater than 0.02 μm. A value of a ratio R/R.sub.BASE is not smaller than 0.75 and not greater than 0.87 where R represents a set radius of curvature of the larger end face of the tapered roller and R.sub.BASE represents a distance from a point which is an apex of a cone angle of the tapered roller to the larger flange surface of the inner ring. A ratio R.sub.process/R is not lower than 0.5 where R.sub.process represents an actual radius of curvature after grinding of the larger end face of the tapered roller and R represents a set radius of curvature.
ROTOR MAIN BEARING OF A NACELLE FOR A WIND TURBINE
A nacelle for a wind turbine includes a nacelle housing; a rotor hub; a rotor bearing for bearing the rotor hub on the nacelle housing, wherein the rotor bearing has at least one inner ring element and at least one outer ring element, wherein at least one sliding bearing element is formed between the inner ring element and the outer ring element. The sliding bearing element is inseparably connected to the inner ring element or the sliding bearing element is inseparably connected to the outer ring element.
