The present invention describes a wind turbine comprising a hub, at least one blade and at least one pitch bearing to connect the at least one blade to the hub, the at least one pitch bearing comprising at least an inner ring and an outer ring, and at least a rolling race, wherein the wind turbine further comprises at least a tensioning system configured to exert a radial compression force to at least a part of the outer ring of the at least one pitch bearing, thus increasing the resultant stiffness of the at least one pitch bearing.
Gantry assembly bearing with vibration damping
A gantry assembly includes a rotor, a stator and a bearing for coupling the rotor and the stator. The bearing includes an inner ring connected with the rotor or stator, an outer ring connected with the other one of the rotor and the stator and rolling elements between the two rings. The ring connected with the stator, preferably the outer ring, includes one or more damping washers disposed between the ring and the stator, each washer being disposed about one threaded fastener connecting the ring with the stator. Also, one or more damping cylinders are each disposed within a mounting hole of the ring connected with the stator and about a threaded fastener disposed within the hole. The bearing ring connected with the rotor may also include damping washers between the ring and the rotor or/and damping cylinders disposed within mounting holes receiving fasteners connecting the ring with the rotor.
ROLLING BEARING WITH MONITORING DEVICE
The invention relates to a rolling bearing with two bearing rings and rolling elements running between same, and a sensor for detecting movements and/or positions of the bearing rings relative to one another, wherein the sensor is fastened to one of the bearing rings and is directed towards a measurement surface on the other bearing ring, wherein said measurement surface comprises a contour projection projecting towards the sensor and/or a contour recess open towards the sensor in the form of a groove or blind hole, which projection or groove influences the measurement signal of the sensor and the movement of which relative to the sensor transverse to the main signal direction of the sensor modifies the measurement signal of the sensor.

A bearing provides a first ring and a second ring capable of rotating concentrically relative to one another, and at least one seal provided with at least one sealing lip. The bearing further includes a sealing module providing a carrier reversibly secured to the first ring, the seal being mounted radially into contact with the carrier, a friction ring reversibly secured to the second ring, the sealing lip of the seal coming into contact with the friction ring, and at least one spacing element axially interposed between the friction ring and the second ring.
ROLLER BEARING ASSEMBLY FOR DETERMINING LOADS
A roller bearing assembly for determining loads on a roller bearing includes a roller bearing having coaxial inner and outer rings and an axis of rotation, and a plurality of rollers each having a rotation axis being arranged between the rings. At least one ring has recess for receiving a force-measuring pin. A force-measuring pin is received in the recess. The longitudinal axis of the force-measuring pin extends at least partly along the axis of rotation of the roller bearing. The recess and the force-measuring pin extends into a region, which is under a load, of the ring that has the recess such that at least one vertical projection plane perpendicular to the rotation axis of the rollers extends along the force-measuring pin and a region of maximum load. This allows loads to be reliably measured.

A hydrodynamic journal bearing assembly for a drivetrain of a wind turbine includes a shaft and a semispherical convex surface provided on an outer surface of the shaft, the convex surface extending circumferentially around the shaft and having a convex cross-sectional profile oriented along a longitudinal axis of the shaft. A bearing housing is arranged circumferentially around the semispherical convex surface, the bearing housing having s a reservoir in a bottom portion thereof for a bearing fluid. A static semispherical concave bearing surface in the bearing housing defines a bearing interface with the semispherical convex surface on the shaft, wherein a layer of the fluid is provided in the bearing interface as the shaft and rotates through the reservoir.

A bearing providing a first ring assembly and a second ring assembly, the first ring assembly including at least a first ring and an outer cap reversibly fixed to first ring. The bearing further providing at least one sealing element mounted radially into a cylindrical surface of the first ring assembly and provided with a sealing lip in sliding frictional contact with the second ring assembly. The bearing including at least one adjusting shim mounted radially between the first and second ring assemblies, the adjusting shim being axially located between the outer cap of the first ring assembly and the sealing element; or between the first ring of the first ring assembly and the sealing element.
ROLLER BEARING WITH A SEAL
A rolling bearing has an inner and an outer bearing ring. Each bearing ring has an inner and an outer shell surface. The roller bearing has rolling elements, which roll on raceways provided on the respective shell surfaces of the bearing rings, and a sealing disc connected to one of the bearing rings and operatively connected in a sealing manner to the other bearing ring. To connect the sealing disc to the bearing ring, one of the shell surfaces of the one bearing ring includes a first connecting means and the sealing disc includes a second connecting means. The first connecting means provide a rotating engagement in which the second connecting means engage in a connected state of the bearing ring and the sealing disc.
