Suspension arm and ball joint

A suspension arm includes a ball stud including a spherical ball; a bearing in which the ball is accommodated; a housing having an inner peripheral portion, an outer peripheral portion, and a lower end portion that connects a lower end of the inner peripheral portion and a lower end of the outer peripheral portion, and configured to accommodate the ball and the bearing in a state in which the ball and the bearing are spaced apart from the inner peripheral portion; an arm body coupled to a portion of the outer peripheral portion of the housing; and an insert molding part formed on an outer peripheral portion of the bearing, the inner peripheral portion of the housing, and the lower end portion of the housing to couple the bearing with the housing. A convex-concave portion is formed on the inner peripheral portion of the housing along a circumferential direction.

Suspension thrust bearing device and suspension strut equiped with such a device

A suspension thrust bearing device for use with a suspension spring in an automotive suspension strut of a vehicle. The device includes an upper annular bearing member and a lower annular bearing member in relative rotation. The lower annular bearing member having a body provided with an embedded stiffening insert. The device further provides a damping element made of resilient material and interposed between the lower annular bearing member and the suspension spring. A radial flange of the damping element prevents separation from the lower side of the radial flange of the lower cap.

Pivot mechanism with flexible elements for large-amplitude rotation guiding and pivot assembly comprising a plurality of said pivot mechanism

A pivot mechanism for guiding in rotation comprises a mobile element connected to a fixed element through flexible connections; with the flexible elements being configured to guide the mobile element according to a rotational movement in a plane, around a pivoting axis perpendicular to the plane; with each of the flexible connections comprising an intermediary junction provided with an expansion slot, the expansion slot being configured to expand during the rotation of the mobile element, so that the mobile element can pivot according to a second angular amplitude that is greater than a first angular amplitude achieved without said expansion slot; with the intermediary junctions being connected to one another by a coupling member; each of the coupling members being configured so as to prevent a movement out of the plane and a lateral movement in the plane of the mobile element. The pivot mechanism has a very high rotational amplitude.

ROTARY SUSPENSION STOP PROVIDED WITH A SHRINK-FIT SEAL AND RETAINER

A rotary suspension stop for a suspension strut comprises a bearing, a lower support forming a bearing surface for an upper turn of a helical spring and an annular shrink-fitting surface turned radially in a radial reference direction, a cover comprising an annular skirt extending axially facing and at a distance from the shrink-fitting surface and a seal having a body, at least one annular sealing lip in sliding contact against the annular skirt of the cover and at least a first set of one or more elastic first shrink-fit lips projecting toward the shrink-fitting surface and shrunk to the shrink-fitting surface.

Chassis control arm and method for the production of a chassis control arm

A chassis control arm includes a single-piece base body with several hollow chambers. The base body includes a plurality of bearing mounts. A first bearing mount is formed by one of the hollow chambers and traverses the base body to define a first bearing axis which extends in extrusion direction. A second bearing mount in a first end portion of the base body defines a second bearing axis in a direction which deviates from the extrusion direction of the hollow profile. A third bearing mount is positioned in a second end portion of the base body. The base body has a center portion which includes the first bearing mount and is arranged between the first and second end portions. The base body has a first leg extending from the first end portion to the center portion, and a second leg extending from the second end portion to the center portion.

Provided is a sliding bushing in which an inner shaft member and an outer tube member are connected by a main rubber elastic body and sliding of the inner shaft member with respect to the main rubber elastic body is allowed. The inner shaft member includes a bulge part of a large diameter provided midway in an axial direction. The outer tube member includes a tapered part whose diameter decreases axially outward at both axial end portions. An outer peripheral surface of the bulge part in the inner shaft member includes a non-adhesive part that is non-adhesive to the main rubber elastic body and is allowed to slide with respect to the main rubber elastic body, and an outer peripheral surface axially outside the non-adhesive part in the inner shaft member includes an adhesive part to which the main rubber elastic body is adhered by vulcanization.

In a strut bearing device, an upper spring sheet made of steel has a cylindrical part and a disc part. The cylindrical part has, at an upper part thereof, an engagement hole penetrated in a radial direction. A lower case of a strut bearing has a cylindrical member fitted along an inner peripheral surface of the upper part of the cylindrical part. The cylindrical member has, at its outer peripheral surface, an engagement projection that is engaged with an engagement hole. Relative movement of the upper spring sheet and the lower case in an axial direction and in a circumferential direction is restricted in a state where the engagement projection is engaged with the engagement hole.

In some embodiments, the ball joint assembly includes a washer with tabs to restrain rotation of the cap relative to the housing. In some embodiments, the ball joint assembly includes a locking mechanism to restrain rotation of the bearing relative to the housing.

Boom air seal

The invention provides an articulated joint in a pneumatic conveying system of a boom of an agricultural dry product applicator. The joint allows adjacent product-conveying tubes and respective joint components to articulate with respect to each other while maintaining a seal for pneumatically conveying product. Joint components may be separated from each other when the boom is folded while articulating with respect to each other without disengaging or creating potential leaks at segment junctures while the boom is extended. The articulated joint includes a rigid socket having a first socket section and a second socket section providing support to a compressible seal having a first seal section and a second seal section. The first seal section is inserted into the second socket section to create an airtight seal in between the first seal section and the second socket section even when boom tube segments flex during use.
