Tray arm assembly including a joint with a two-tier friction mechanism
Particular embodiments disclosed herein provide a joint of a tray arm assembly, comprising a joint body, a shaft configured to rotate relative to the joint body about a longitudinal axis of the shaft, and a slip clutch assembly, comprising a clutch stack, including a plurality of first clutch plates keyed to the shaft and a plurality of second clutch plates keyed to the joint body. The clutch stack further comprises a spring configured to selectively exert a force on the clutch stack, wherein the force compresses the clutch stack causing a friction between the plurality of first clutch plates and the plurality of second clutch plates with respect to a rotation of the shaft relative to the joint body.

Friction ring and method for producing same
The invention relates to a friction ring, in particular for wet-running clutches or transmissions, having a carrier (10) and a friction lining (12) with a friction lining starting material (20) being a mixture at least of a thermosetting binder and a filler, and with the friction lining starting material (20) having a non-flowable, pasty processing consistency and the friction lining (12) having a solid final consistency after processing on the carrier (10). The invention further relates to a method producing such a friction ring.

Friction material composition and friction material
A friction material composition of the present invention includes a fibrous base, a friction regulator, and a binder and has a copper content of 0.5 mass % or less in terms of copper element amount. The friction material composition contains regenerated cellulosic fibers as the fibrous base. In an embodiment of the friction material composition, the regenerated cellulose fiber has a fiber length of 2 mm to 20 mm.
CLUTCH PACK PRE-BUILD FIXTURE AND INSTALLATION TOOL
A method and tool system coaxially orients inner clutch plates with outer clutch plates on a tool. The tool includes a plurality of guide members circumferentially spaced apart, each guide member matingly engages a toothed portion of each inner clutch plate to position the inner clutch plates coaxially. A pre-build fixture includes a plurality of alignment pillars, at least one support block, and an alignment member. The alignment pillars are circumferentially spaced apart about a fixture axis. Each alignment pillar has a curved inner face that faces radially inward and has an arclength that is configured to coincide with and fit within a corresponding gap between radially outward facing teeth of each outer clutch plate. The support block supports the tool coaxially with the fixture. The alignment member engages the tool to inhibit rotation of the tool when the tool is supported coaxially with the fixture by the support block.
ROTATION TRANSMISSION DISC
A rotation transmission disc includes: an outer circumferential portion on which a load acts when rotation is transmitted; a center opening portion formed inside the outer circumferential portion; and a plurality of attachment holes for attachment of the rotation transmission disc 1 to a rotating element. A first crosspiece portions are formed in each of ranges of divided angles formed by two adjacent attachment holes with respect to a center of the rotation transmission disc. The first crosspiece portion extends from a load point, which is an intersection between a straight line extending in a radial direction to internally divide the divided angles at a predetermined angular ratio and a load radius position of the outer circumferential portion, to one of the attachment holes forming the divided angles. The second crosspiece portion extends from the load point to the other attachment hole of the attachment holes forming the divided angles.

Cylindrical component for holding clutch plates and press molding method therefor
A clutch hub which is engaged with the clutch plates in an outer circumference is a press-molding article made from one steel sheet. In its inner circumferential surface, plural oil grooves for cooling the clutch plates, which are extended to a shaft direction and have a space in a circumferential direction. Each of dams as a press-molding portion extending to radial inward is formed at an end portion of each of the oil groove. The dams include an upright front surface and a back surface, and the bottom surfaces and both side surfaces of the oil grooves are integrated with the dams at the front surface side and the back surface side.
