TORQUE RESTRICTION MECHANISM, DRIVE DEVICE, AND ROBOT DEVICE
A torque restriction mechanism is provided by which torque cutoff and torque transmission can be reliably performed without being affected by a rotation state of the drive unit, and damage to a collision object can be reduced even with a simple configuration. The torque restriction mechanism according to the present invention includes a first clutch and a second clutch. The first clutch cuts off torque to a driven unit when reaction torque at a stationary portion of a motor equals or exceeds a first value. The second clutch that transmits torque in accordance with a rotation state of a rotor of the motor, cuts off torque to the driven unit when the reaction torque equals or exceeds a second value larger than the first value.
AXLE COUPLER WITH RING RECESS
An axle coupler comprises driver teeth to engage teeth of a corresponding driver; a central aperture having a central axis and a circumference; and the central aperture including axle teeth circumferentially surrounding the central axis; each axle tooth having a first dimensional direction parallel to the central axis; each axle tooth having a second dimensional direction orthogonal to the first dimensional direction; a recess formed in each axle tooth to form a first axle tooth portion and a second axle tooth portion.
Sliding clutch for an adjustment device and side-view mirror for a motor vehicle having an adjustment device
A sliding clutch for an adjustment device of a rearview device of a motor vehicle comprises two plastic parts. A first part is formed as an external gear wheel having a first multiplicity of first coupling elements and a second part is formed as an internal shaft having a second multiplicity of second coupling elements. The two plastic parts rotate with one another up to a predefined maximum torque namely because a positive fit exists between the first and second coupling elements up to the predefined maximum torque. The invention furthermore relates to a side-view mirror for a motor vehicle having an adjustment device which comprises a sliding clutch according to the invention.
INDICATOR SYSTEM FOR TORQUE LIMITER
There is provided an indicator system for a torque limiter. The system comprises a first component extending around an axis (A) and comprising one or more radially extending cam surfaces, and a second component in combination with a third component. The third component is fixed against rotation relative to the second component, but is axially movable relative to the second component. The third component comprises one or more notches, each receiving one of the radially extending cam surfaces. Upon relative rotation between the first component and the combination of the second component and the third component, a surface of each of the notches is configured to ride up a corresponding cam surface of the first component, causing the third component to move axially away from the second component.
MECHANICAL CLUTCH DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A MECHANICAL CLUTCH DEVICE
A mechanical clutch device for coupling two connecting parts in a gas turbo engine, in particular a geared aircraft turbofan engine, with means to automatically trigger a position change of one of the connecting parts relative to the respective other connecting parts and/or relative to an engine part from the first position into a second position in dependence of a torque effective on the connecting parts and/or the engine part, in particular through the transmission via a shaft, in particular a non-nominal torque, more in particular a reversal in the direction of the torque. It also relates to a method for operating a mechanical clutch device.
APPLICATION-OPTIMIZED DEACTIVATION BEHAVIOR OF AN ELECTRONIC SLIPPING CLUTCH
A method for operating a clutch in a power tool having an electric motor having an open-loop and closed-loop control device for closed-loop and open-loop control of motor power of the tool, and having a sensor, wherein the tool is operable in a first or second operating mode; in the first mode, the clutch is actuated after a predetermined time if a predetermined rotational speed threshold is undershot, and in the second mode, the clutch is actuated if a first predetermined motor current threshold value is exceeded. The method comprises setting the second mode; measuring the current of the motor; and reducing the motor rotational speed from a first rotational speed value to a second rotational speed value if a second predetermined current threshold value is exceeded, wherein a torque that can be generated by the tool is increased from a first torque value to a second torque value.

TORQUE LIMITER ASSEMBLY
A torque limiting assembly is disclosed comprising: an input shaft; an output shaft; a drive bush; a motion converter mechanism; a casing; and at least one engagement member for engaging the casing. In a low torque mode, rotation of the input shaft drives rotation of the drive bush, motion converter mechanism and output shaft. In a high torque mode, rotation of the motion converter mechanism relative to the output shaft urges the motion converter mechanism axially to drive rotation of the drive bush relative to the input shaft. The engagement member is coupled to both the drive bush and the input shaft such that when the drive bush is rotated relative to the input shaft, the engagement member is urged to engage the casing so as to prevent or inhibit rotation of the input shaft relative to the casing.
TORQUE LIMITER ASSEMBLY
A torque limiter assembly is disclosed comprising a housing having at least one first engagement member, an input shaft that is rotatable relative to the housing and having at least one second engagement member; and an electromagnet. The electromagnet 10 is arranged and configured such that when activated it generates a magnetic field that moves the at least one first engagement member relative to the at least one second engagement member, such that the first and second engagement members engage each other and stop or inhibit rotation of the input shaft relative to the housing.
INDICATOR FOR TORQUE LIMITER
There is provided an indicator for a torque limiter, comprising one or more resilient members configured to move from an initial, compressed state during normal operation of the torque limiter, to a subsequent, expanded state upon tripping of the torque limiter, to provide a visual indication that the torque limiter has tripped.
