DISC BRAKE LINING, ASSEMBLED DEPENDING ON THE DIRECTION OF ROTATION, FOR A FIXED CALIPER DISC BRAKE
20210231182 · 2021-07-29 ·

A disc brake lining is assembled depending on the rotation direction and includes a backing plate to carry a friction material, having diametrically opposed sides configured to be free from friction material. The backing plate is formed asymmetrically with respect to a central axis, and has a bearing on the inlet side relative to a preferred direction of rotation and provided radially inwardly in relation to a central wheel rotational axis, radially offset below a brake piston axis, as a holder with a hole for receiving a retaining pin, defining a fixedly positioned friction lining fixed bearing. A guide is on an allocated outlet-side bearing of the backing plate, radially outwardly in relation to the central wheel rotational axis, radially offset above a brake piston axis. The guide is an open-edged mouth opening with a receiving pocket receiving a guide pin, and defines a fixedly allocated friction lining floating bearing.

The present disk brake is configured in such a manner that a distance from a third straight line, which connects an intermediate point of a first straight line between first and second attachment holes and a center of a disk rotor D, to a first slide pin is longer than a distance from the above-described third straight line to a second slide pin. Due to this configuration, the disk brake can improve slidability between the first and second slide pins and first and second pin fitted insertion portions.

BRAKE APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE

A brake apparatus for a vehicle may include: a pair of pin members installed in a caliper body so as to be spaced apart from each other; a first brake pad movably coupled to the pair of pin members, and contactable with a brake disk; a second brake pad coupled to the pair of pin members so as to be spaced apart from the first brake pad, and contactable with the brake disk; a pressing part installed in the caliper body, and pressing the first brake pad to bring the first and second brake pads into contact with the brake disk; and a pad liner installed on the pair of pin members, and providing an elastic restoring force to the first and second brake pads such that the first and second brake pads are restored to the original state when the pressing of the pressing part is released.

CALIPER GUIDE ASSEMBLY

A caliper guide assembly having a guide pin, a guide bore, a cap, and a sensor arrangement. The guide bore is arranged to receive the guide pin. The cap may be secured to an open end of the guide bore proximate a free end of the guide pin. The sensor arrangement may include a first sensor component that is configured to provide an output indicative of relative axial displacement between a first sensor component and a second sensor component.

A brake pad pin and axially constraining elastic element assembly has a supporting pin having a pin body that has a pin first portion having a pin first portion diameter and a pin second portion having a pin second portion diameter greater than the pin first portion diameter. An elastic element has an elastic element inner diameter and an elastic element outer diameter either greater than or equal to the pin second portion diameter. The elastic element inner diameter is smaller than the pin second portion diameter. A pin third portion has a pin third portion stretch having a pin third diameter greater than the elastic element inner diameter. The elastic element has an elastic element inner profile. The pin third portion has a pin third portion profile connecting the pin first and second portions and is biased towards the elastic element. The pin third portion profile is wedged into the elastic element inner profile.

GUIDE ASSEMBLY FOR A DISC BRAKE

A guide assembly for a disc brake, a disc brake, and a method of mounting. The guide assembly may include a guide pin, a receiving portion, and a weld. The receiving portion may receive a mounting portion of the guide pin. The weld may secure the mounting portion and the receiving portion.

GUIDE ASSEMBLY FOR A DISC BRAKE

A guide assembly for a disc brake and method of mounting. The guide assembly may have a guide pin that includes a mounting portion and a guiding portion. A retaining bore of a brake carrier may receive the guide pin and retain the mounting portion. The guiding portion may protrude from an inboard-side of the brake carrier and may slidably support a brake caliper.

The vehicular disc brake comprises a caliper bracket 3, a caliper body 6 attached to the caliper bracket 3, and friction pads 7, 7 disposed on both sides of a disc rotor 2, and the caliper body 6 comprises an action part 6a provided with cylinder holes 6f, 6g through which a large-diameter piston 10 and a small-diameter piston 11 are inserted, and a bridge part 6c extending across the outer periphery of the disc rotor 2. Thinned parts 6n, 6p are provided respectively in positions corresponding to the pistons 10, 11 in a disc-radially inner wall 6i of the bridge part 6c. The volume of the thinned part 6b corresponding to the large-diameter piston 10 on the disc turn-out side when the vehicle is moving forward is less than the volume of the thinned part 6p corresponding to the small-diameter piston 11 on the disc turn-in side.

PAD PIN RECEIVER, DISC BRAKE PAD, AND DISC BRAKE DEVICE

A pad pin receiver includes a body plate is attached to an inner side of a pin insertion portion provided in a back plate of a disc brake pad. The pin insertion portion engages with a pin inserted into the pin insertion portion during braking. The body plate covers a portion of an inner peripheral surface of the pin insertion portion. A bent plate is bent at at least one end portion of the body plate in a length direction of the body plate. When the body plate is attached to the pin insertion portion, the body plate extends in a thickness direction of the back plate, and the bent plate overlaps with the back plate in the thickness direction of the back plate.
