A mechanical multi-rod disc brake contains: a braking unit including an engagement structure having two bases, two swing arms, two wear-resistant sleeves, and two fixing pistons between which an accommodation space is defined so as to accommodate a stop disc. A respective one wear-resistant sleeve has a respective one fixing piston. A drive unit includes a multi-rod structure, and a respective one rotary shaft is rotatably connected with a respective one driven bolt rotatably connected with a respective one driving member via a respective one connection portion. A respective one joining element has a receiving hole rotatably connected with of a first extension of a first connection stein or a second extension of a second connection stein. Each of the first extension and the second extension has a resilient element, and the first and second extensions are connected with a brake cable via the first and second apertures.
Disc brake
A disc brake and an adjuster system for a disc brake. The adjuster system may include a piston, a manual rewind apparatus, and an overload device. The overload device may be arranged between the manual rewind device and the piston and may be configured to interrupt driving engagement between the manual rewind apparatus and the piston when torque is applied above a predetermined value.
Brake dust cover
A brake dust cover includes an annular plate in which a cutout for avoidance of a brake caliper is provided in a first predetermined angle region, and a cover portion that overhangs to one side in an axial direction of the annular plate and covers an outer peripheral surface of a brake disc rotor is included at an outer periphery of a second predetermined angle region. The annular plate includes a small diameter region disposed in a third predetermined angle region other than the second predetermined angle region. In the annular plate, an outer diameter of the third predetermined angle region is smaller than an outer diameter of the second predetermined angle region. The annular plate does not include, in the small diameter region, a portion that overhangs to one side in the axial direction of the annular plate and covers the outer peripheral surface of the brake disc rotor.
FASTENER MIGRATION LIMITING FEATURE
A retaining clip for constraining a heat shield for use with an aircraft wheel assembly. The retaining clip includes a first end and a second end axially opposite the first end, the first end being opposite the second end along a longitudinal axis. The retaining clip further includes a first side and a second side each having a curvature forming a U-shaped cross section such that an outer edge of each of the first side and the second side extends back towards the longitudinal axis. The retaining clip further includes a migration stop defined by the first side at the first end, the migration stop extending past the outer edge of the second side and configured to interface with hooks of the heat shield to resist axial movement of the retaining clip relative to the heat shield
Braking device, system and method
A braking system for safely collecting brake dust produced by operation of a braking mechanism. The braking system comprises a collector apparatus coupled with a braking mechanism. The collector apparatus is able to include a shroud that surrounds the braking mechanism and a catch element coupled with the shroud for collecting brake dust exiting the shroud. As a result, when coupled with the braking mechanism, the collector apparatus is able to ensure that most or all brake dust, such as copper or other particles from the braking mechanism that break off from the breaking mechanism during operation of the braking mechanism, are removed from the braking mechanism and collected by the filter/catch of the collector mechanism.
DISC BRAKE, IN PARTICULAR FOR COMMERCIAL VEHICLES, AND HOLDING UNIT FOR A CABLE OF SUCH DISC BRAKE
A system for mounting a signal cable to a disc brake comprises: a cover plate for being fastened to or constituting an actuation side of the disc brake in an accommodation space of a brake caliper, an actuator opening in a region of the cover plate configured to allow passage of actuation device; and signal cable fixation member 80 for mounting the signal cable to the cover plate, the signal cable fixation member 80 comprising an attachment part 82 and a signal cable guiding part 84, the attachment part 82 being configured to engage with an attachment counterpart in or on the cover plate and the signal cable guiding part 84 being configured to guide the signal cable towards a side edge of the cover plate. The system is characterized by a connecting part 86 between the attachment part 82 and the signal cable guiding part 84, the connecting part 86 being configured to space apart a signal cable guide axis A of the signal cable guiding part 84 from an engagement axis B of the attachment part 82 by an offset d.
DISK ROTOR OF VEHICLE BRAKE
A disk rotor of a vehicle brake with improved efficiency in cooling the disk rotor by a synergy effect that comes from ensuring velocity of airflow flowing between cooling fins, ensuring surface areas of the cooling fins, and generating turbulent flow by second fins. A plurality of cooling fins each extending radially from an inner peripheral edge to an outer peripheral edge of a disk rotor are provided inside the disk rotor at intervals in the circumferential direction. Each of the plurality of the cooling fins includes a radial fin extending radially and a second fin spaced apart from the radial fin in the radial direction.
Air cooling of disc brake unit by longitudinal vortex generator
A vehicle disc brake unit comprises a rotatable brake rotor and non-rotatable brake pad of caliper. During the vehicle braking, the non-rotatable brake pad presses against the rotating brake rotor, producing friction heat on frictional contact bands where the brake rotor and the brake pad engages with each other. A plurality of longitudinal vortex generators configured in fins is mounted either to a rotatable vehicle component such as hat of a brake rotor, or a non-rotatable vehicle component such as a protective plate, generating longitudinal vortices in the cooling air flows around the brake rotor, especially across the hottest frictional contact bands. The induced longitudinal vortices in the cooling air flows optimize the heat dissipation from brake rotor into atmosphere.
Disc brake protector
This invention relates to a disc brake protector (1; 101) for a bicycle (200), the disc brake protector comprising (a) an inner cover (10; 110) for fitting around an axle (220) of a bicycle wheel (205, 225) between the wheel and the disc brake, the inner cover comprising a closable opening (15; 115) for insertion of the axle, and (b) an outer cover (5) which is attachable to the inner cover such that, in use, the covers enclose the disc brake. The invention also relates to a method of attaching the disc brake protector, as well as to a bicycle fitted with the disc brake protector.
