Thinned parts 6n, 6p are provided respectively in positions corresponding to the pistons 10, 11 in a disc-radially inner wall 6i of the bridge part 6c. The volume of the thinned part 6b corresponding to the large-diameter piston 10 on the disc turn-out side when the vehicle is moving forward is less than the volume of the thinned part 6p corresponding to the small-diameter piston 11 on the disc turn-in side.

CALIPER GUIDE ASSEMBLY

A caliper guide assembly for a heavy vehicle disc brake. The caliper guide assembly may include a wear sensor arranged to detect the position of a guide pin in relation to a guide bore. The guide pin and a guide surface may have different cross sectional profiles to define at least one void therebetween. The wear sensor may be at least partially accommodated within the void.

Disk brake for a utility vehicle

The invention relates to a disk brake for a utility vehicle, comprising a brake caliper, which extends over a brake disk and which is slidably held on at least one guide bar, which is connected to a stationary brake bracket by means of a screw, wherein the screw is fed through the guide bar, is designed in such a way that the guide bar has impressing elements, which are formed on the end face of the guide bar that lies against the brake bracket, at least in a circumferential and/or radial partial region, which impressing elements engage into the brake bracket in an impressed manner in such a way that an interlocking connection and/or a frictional connection is formed.

BRAKE ACTUATOR

Disclosed is a caliper brake. The caliper brake includes a carrier having a pair of pad plates installed therein to be movable forward and backward; a caliper housing slidably installed at the carrier, and provided with a finger bent downward and configured to pressurize each of the pair of pad plates; and an elastic member installed at the caliper housing and configured to elastically support a lower end portion of each side of the carrier, wherein the lower end portion of each side of the carrier in contact with the elastic member is formed to be inclined.

BRAKE CALIPER

A brake caliper for a disc brake having a caliper body, a brake pad and at least one retraction device of the brake pad from a braking disc is described. The device is configured to retract the brake pad from at least one of opposite braking surfaces delimited by the braking disc. The caliper body delimits a first pad abutment surface to delimit a tapered space with the braking surface of the braking disc, the first pad abutment surface being oriented so that, during the braking action, the surface guides the brake pad wedging in the tapered space. The brake pad delimits a retraction surface, inclined in a non-orthogonal direction with respect to the pad plane and oriented so that, during the retraction action, the brake pad is guided partially outside of the tapered space.

GUIDE ASSEMBLY

A guide assembly for a disc brake. The guide assembly includes a receiving portion of a brake carrier that receives a sleeve portion of a guide pin. The sleeve portion and receiving portion have corresponding non-circular cross-sectional profiles that restrict rotation of the sleeve portion relative to the brake carrier when the sleeve portion is received and aligned in the receiving portion. The present invention further relates to a disc brake that includes a brake carrier, a caliper, and at least one guide assembly and a method of manufacture.

A sealed hydraulic stop valve for caliper guide system of an air disk brake system provides a means of continuous maintenance and lubrication. The system includes a tubular guide pin, a cap, a sealed hydraulic stop valve, and a plurality of lubricating grooves. The tubular guide pin attaches a caliper head to a carrier of the air disk brakes. The lubricating grooves inject grease into the system and are radially distributed about the tubular guide pin. Each lubricating groove normally and externally traverses into the tubular guide pin. The cap and the stop valve seal off the tubular guide pin and allow for grease injection to the lubricating grooves. The cap is concentrically positioned about the tubular guide pin. The stop valve is adjacently integrated into the cap, opposite to the tubular guide pin. Resultantly, the stop valve is in fluid communication with each of the lubricating grooves.
