BICYCLE DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY
A bicycle disc brake caliper assembly is basically provided with a main caliper body, at least one brake pad and a mounting adapter. The main caliper body includes a first coupling portion that is configured not to be directly attached to a bicycle frame. The at least one brake pad is movably attached to the main caliper body. The mounting adapter includes a second coupling portion that is configured to be detachably coupled to the first coupling portion, and a mounting portion that is configured to be mounted to a bicycle frame.
ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY
A piston assembly for engaging two selectively engageable parts comprising: a housing defining a piston cylinder; a piston; and an adjuster assembly comprising: a piston stroke limiter configured to limit the length of a return stroke of the piston from an extended stroke position and a retracted stroke position, the piston stroke limiter comprising a spring and a spring guide; and an inner crushable tube, acting between the piston and the piston stroke limiter, the inner crushable tube being arranged to reduce in axial length when a length of an extension stroke exceeds a length of a retraction stroke to maintain the length of the return stroke; wherein the inner crushable tube comprises an inner crushable thin-walled tube surrounding at least a portion of the piston.
Orientation independent non-pressure head for a railway brake cylinder
A brake cylinder with a cylinder body having a first flange extending radially therefrom to form a radial edge with a bevel and a non-pressure head having a second flange extending radially therefrom, wherein the second flange is spaced apart from the first flange to define a first gap and includes an angled portion that extends over the bevel of the first flange to define a second gap in communication with the first gap. The two flanges form a gap in communication with the interior of the brake cylinder that extends outwardly to a V-shaped gap between the bevel of the first flange and the angled portion of the second flange to define a brake cylinder vent. The vent may be limited to four predetermined locations spaced equidistantly about the brake cylinder or the vent may extend circumferentially about the brake cylinder.
DISC BRAKE DEVICE
A floating type disc brake device in which a body, a support and a cylinder unit are configured separately, and a first piston and a second piston are accommodated in the cylinder unit, wherein the cylinder unit is fixed to arm portions provided on both the rotation-in side and the rotation-out side of a rotor in the support via cylinder attachment portions disposed on the outer circumference side of the cylinder unit.
Hydraulic anti-lock brake wheel cylinder and axle braking system
A hydraulic anti-lock brake wheel cylinder includes a cylinder body with a first cavity having an end cover, a first oil chamber interface, a second oil chamber interface and an oil return interface. A first piston is arranged within the first cavity, a first spring between the first piston and the end cover, a first oil chamber between the first piston and a bottom of the first cavity, the first oil chamber communicating with the first oil chamber interface; the first piston having a second cavity, a second piston arranged within the second cavity; a second spring between the second piston and a bottom of the second cavity, a second oil chamber between the second piston and a top of the second cavity; a core tube within the cylinder body, and one end of the core tube communicating with the second oil chamber, the other end communicating with the second oil chamber interface; the oil return interface communicating with the first oil chamber when the first piston moves outwards to a set position.
RAILWAY BRAKING SYSTEM FOR A RAILWAY VEHICLE
Disclosed is a railway braking system including a braking device provided with a body, a single piston that can move with respect to the body to act on a brake linkage, and delimiting, together with the body, a pressure chamber supplied by a pressure medium source for placing the piston in a rest position where the linkage applies no force on a braking member of a railway vehicle, first and second seals housed between a first section of the piston and the body, and third and fourth seals housed between a second section of the piston and the body; the first and third seals being configured to form a primary sealing of the pressure chamber and the second and fourth seals being configured to form a secondary sealing of the pressure chamber.
Disc brake
A disc brake having a caliper, a housing bore, a guide insert, and a piston. The housing bore extends inboard from an outboard face of a housing portion of the caliper. The guide insert may have an inner guide bore and may be mounted within the housing bore. The piston may be slideable within the inner guide bore relative to the guide insert so as to urge a brake pad towards a rotor.
LIN-XIE BRAKE
A Lin-Xie brake used by a mine hoist, a car, a high-speed train, etc. Gas springs are used to replace belleville springs, and a positive pressure is also always applied to brake pads to both ensure and increase the brake reliability and a positive pressure per unit area. And the Lin-Xie brake resolves problems such as deformation of the belleville springs, a serious change in an elastic force, sudden cracking and decompression, inconvenient monitoring, and a manufacturing difficulty. For the Lin-Xie brake, a brake head floating structure is used to reduce a requirement on end face runout of a brake disc. An oil-gas linkage plunger pump is used to replace a hydraulic station, which greatly reduces manufacturing costs, and reduces energy consumption. The Lin-Xie brake is an ideal product to replace medium or large-sized Lin-Xie brakes used by existing mine hoists, cars, high-speed trains, etc.
Pressure-medium-actuated brake cylinder of a rail vehicle
A pressure-medium-actuated brake cylinder of a rail vehicle has a housing, a translationally movable brake piston rod extending through a bore in a housing base, a guide ring which is received in the bore, encloses the brake piston rod and is intended for guiding the brake piston rod in the bore, and at least one sealing ring which is received in the bore, encloses the brake piston rod and is intended for sealing an interior of the housing with respect to a space outside the housing, wherein the guide ring and the at least one sealing ring are designed as a guide and sealing ring combined to form a structural unit.
Electric parking brake
Disclosed herein an electric parking brake (EPB) that is controlled by an electrical signal and generates a parking braking force includes a caliper housing including a cylinder and a piston slidably provided in the cylinder; and an actuator installed in the cylinder to press and release the piston; wherein the actuator comprises a linear motor installed in the cylinder and having a moving member that moves linearly according to an electrical signal, and a pressing portion that is press-fitted to the moving member to move together with the moving member and presses selectively the piston.
