Spring for sun visor and support device for sun visor
A spring for sun visors includes a torque application section that extends from a holding section and applies torque when a main section is rotating. The holding section has a flat section that receives torque from a shaft. The torque application section has a first spring piece extending from one end of the holding section and a second spring piece extending from the other end of the holding section and being bent so as to fold back. The first spring piece has a first tip section that includes overhanging sections that are narrower than the width of the holding section. The second spring piece has a second tip section that is arranged so as to overlap on the outside of the overhanging sections. The overhanging sections are provided in an area extending from the torque receiving section to the first tip section.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR POSITIONING A SAFETY STRAP
An apparatus for positioning a strap around an object includes a handle for being grasped by a user of the apparatus. The apparatus further includes an arm portion having a first end coupled to the handle portion and an opposite second end having a coupling mechanism coupled at or nearby for selectively coupling a portion of the strap to the second end of the arm portion. When the handle portion is grasped by the user of the apparatus adjacent a side of the object the arm portion is sized and configured to be movable among: a first positioning wherein the arm portion extends outward from the handle and the user such that the second end of the arm portion extends a distance beyond a far side of the object, and a second positioning wherein the arm portion wraps at least partially around the object.
Wave spring
A wave spring includes an annular body in which crests and valleys are alternately and continuously formed in a circumferential direction. At least a portion of the annular body in the circumferential direction is a joined portion. The joined portion of the annular body is a flat portion extending in a plane orthogonal to a center axis of the annular body.
BLOCK WITH ARTIFICIAL GRASS TO GRASS PAVEMENT STONES
The present invention is an artificial grass block that can accommodate to the different sized cells of the similar grass pavement stones produced by different companies. The artificial grass block can bear an up to 10% size difference of the cells. The artificial grass block can carry out this function by its elastic, flexible positioning-fixing unit, which positions and fixes the artificial grass block inside the cell of a certain size range. The positioning-fixing unit is longer than the cell before insertion and deforms during insertion. This deformed positioning-fixing unit creates a tension that appropriately positions and firmly fixes the artificial grass block within the cell. EOIC 5/20 Pavings made of prefabricated single units; made of units of plastics; EOIC 9/225 Pavings specially adapted for allowing vegetation; EOIC 11/225 Paving specially adapted for through-the-surfacing drainage, e.g. perforated, porous; Preformed paving elements comprising, or adapted to form, passageways for carrying off drainage; E03F 11/00 Water supply; sewerage; Sewers; Cesspools; E04F 13/24 Finishing work on buildings; Coverings or linings, Hidden fastening means on the rear of the covering or lining elements; F16B 2/00 Friction-grip releasable fastenings; F16F 1/36 Springs, made of plastics.
Stable shape-reconfigurable structures and mechanisms
In one embodiment, a shape-reconfigurable structure includes a rigid base having first and second ends, a rigid first beam having a lateral end and a central end, the lateral end being connected to the first end of the base, and a rigid second beam having a lateral end and a central end, the lateral end of the second beam being connected to the second end of the base and the central end of the second beam being connected to the central end of the first beam, wherein the structure can be placed in an expanded orientation in which the first and second beams extend outward away from the base and a contracted orientation in which the first and second beams extend inward toward the base.
FLEXIBLE MEMBER
Provided is a flexible member that can exhibit excellent load resistance and flexibility while achieving a reduction in size. This flexible member includes: a main body part which has multiple wave washers stacked in an axial direction and joined to each other, and the main body part is able to be bent with respect to the axial direction due to elastic deformation of the wave washers; and a linking member that is elastically deformable, the linking member being provided at an end part of the main body part and being linked to other member. A deformation amount of the linking member is smaller than a deformation amount of the wave washer, when the main body part is bent.
PLASTIC SPRING, PUMP CORE, LOTION PUMP AND PRESS-TYPE PACKAGING CONTAINER
A plastic spring, a pump core, a lotion pump and a press-type packaging container. The plastic spring includes at least one spring unit. Each spring unit includes a first support member, a second support member, and at least two torsion arms. The at least two torsion arms are arranged between the first support member and the second support member, and both ends of each of the torsion arms are respectively connected with the first support member and the second support member. Each of the torsion arms includes at least one vertical section, and an end of each vertical section is connected with the first support member or the second support member.
Planar spring and rotating series elastic actuator
A planar spring has an outer ring, an inner ring, and two elastic components. The inner ring is disposed in the outer ring, and forms a space therebetween. The two elastic components are disposed in the space, and are symmetric with respect to a central line at a spaced interval. Each elastic component has an outer connecting portion, an inner connecting portion, and a flexible strip. The outer connecting portion is connected to the outer ring at a first connecting point. The inner connecting portion is connected to the inner ring at a second connecting point. The flexible strip is connected between the outer connecting portion and the inner connecting portion. An included angle between the first connecting point and the second connecting point from the center is greater than or equal to 90 degrees and less than 180 degrees. A rotational series elastic actuator is also provided.
HOLLOW SPRING AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A method includes, providing a tubular member (10) used for a hollow spring, and applying the compressive residual stress to at least a portion of an inner surface of the steel tube by applying the compressive force to at least a portion of an outer surface of the tubular member (10) from a circumferential direction, and a fatigue life of the tubular member (10) is prolonged by applying the compressive residual stress to the inner surface of the tubular member (10). Applying the force to the outer surface of the tubular member (10) includes pressing the tubular member (10) with a die (1).
