BELLOWS ASSEMBLY AND BELLOWS FOR VEHICLES
A bellows assembly for a vibration damper includes a bellows with a plurality of pockets with pocket walls and a pocket inner profile, a helical compression spring with windings consisting of a wound spring wire and pressure contact lateral faces. The helical compression spring is arranged in the bellows and the plurality of pockets extend coaxially to the longitudinal axis of the helical compression spring. Under pressure loading of the helical compression spring arranged in the bellows, the bellows folds together with the helical compression spring, wherein the wound spring wire is arranged at least in certain portions in the plurality of pockets, wherein the pocket walls of the plurality of pockets in which the wound spring wire is arranged at least in certain portions cover at least the mutually opposite pressure contact lateral faces of adjacent windings of the helical compression spring.
SHOCK ABSORBER
A shock absorber includes a cylinder tube, a damping-force generating portion, a rod, an annular guide portion, and an annular support portion provided to project from an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder tube, the support portion being configured to support the guide portion, wherein the guide portion has an opposing surface formed to oppose the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder tube, and a contacting surface in contact with the support portion, the contacting surface being inclined with respect to the opposing surface, and the contacting surface is formed so as to be, as a whole, inclined with respect to the opposing surface.
A TELESCOPIC ARRANGEMENT
A telescopic arrangement (10) having a hollow cylinder (12) and a part (14) which is telescopically engaged with the cylinder. The arrangement is provided with at least one coil (22) constituting a first form of pulse-induction device, and at least one target (28) constituting a second form of pulse-induction device, to monitor the position of the said part (14) relative to the cylinder (12). A plurality of devices (22) each of one of the said first and second forms of device are positioned on the outside of the cylinder (12), at different respective positions therealong. At least one (28) of the other of the said first and second forms of device is fixed relative to the said part (14) of the arrangement (10) in a position such that it is moved over the said plurality of devices (22) in succession as the said part (14) is telescopically moved relative to the cylinder (12) of the arrangement (10).

DUST COVER ASSEMBLED BUMPER STOPPER
A bumper stopper installed on the shock absorber of a vehicle to respond to the impact of a cylinder lifting or lowering in the vertical direction depending on the running state of the vehicle. The bumper stopper is constructed such that a cylindrical dust cover having an opening formed at the lower end thereof is connected to a buffer member formed of peaks and troughs. The buffer member has a through hole through which a cylinder and rod of a shock absorber passes via a connection plate so that the buffer member and the dust cover are integrated with each other. It prevents air from being compressed inside the buffer member, thereby preventing component damage due to high pressure. Also, it prevents abnormal noise from occurring in the process of contact and separation between the cylinder and the connection plate, thereby providing improved ride comfort.

Article, particularly an air spring bellows, a metal-rubber element, or a vibration damper
The invention relates to an article comprising a main body (6, 7, 8) that consists of a polymer material having elastic properties, particularly an air spring bellows (2), a metal-rubber element or a vibration damper. In order for fire-retardant properties to be improved, the article is provided, partially or fully, with a cover (9) formed from at least one flat textile structure and/or at least one three-dimensional textile structure and/or at least one shrink film. The cover can be fire-retardant itself or can be equipped to be fire-retardant.

Planar Linkage, Methods of Decoupling, Mitigating Shock and Resonance, and Controlling Agricultural Spray Booms Mounted on Ground Vehicles
The current invention discloses several methodologies that mitigate shock loading and propensity to resonance in agricultural spray boom structures. These include a near planar linkage for decoupling the boom assembly from the vehicle. This serves to permit further aspects of the invention to: Use the combined mass of the booms and center section as the tuned mass of a tuned mass damper: Act as an enabling part of a boom compliant suspension system to mitigate shock loadings otherwise imposed on the boom system, and: Act as an enabling part of an active boom height and roll control systems to permit the accurate navigation of the boom over undulating terrain. Further aspects include the incorporation of tuned mass dampers in the boom structure and components; and the use of the mass and operation of the boom outboard breakaway sections as tuned mass dampers.
