Lift assist and damper arrangement
A lockable lift assist assembly includes a piston assembly moveable between an extended position and a retracted position. A valve assembly is coupled in movement together with the piston assembly. The valve assembly is configured to selectively alter a flow of a hydraulic fluid through a fluid communication path established within the valve assembly to control movement of the piston assembly.
Pneumatically actuated adjusting device for acting on a spring device of a spring damper comprising a tubular body
A pneumatically operable adjusting device (1) is provided for acting on a spring device (5) of a spring damper device (3) having a tubular body (2), with a tubular piece-shaped housing (4) which is designed to surround the tubular body (2) and has a passage (6) passing through a peripheral wall of the housing (4), and the adjusting device (1) has an adjusting nut (9) with an internal thread (10) which is attached to an external thread (11) of a tubular body (2), 37) of the spring damper device (3) can be brought into screw engagement, the housing (4) being designed for releasable abutment against the adjusting nut (9) and having an inner recess (7) for forming a pressure chamber (8) which is in fluid connection with the passage (6) and the inner recess (7) forming a pressure wall (24), the fluid admission of which causes a force acting on the housing (4) in the axial longitudinal direction and the housing (4) has an abutment surface (54) designed for spring force admission by the spring device.
HYDRAULIC-PNEUMATIC APPARATUS
An aspect of the present disclosure provides a hydraulic-pneumatic apparatus including a cylinder assembly including a spindle with a hollow inside, a hollow cylinder portion, and a piston rod capable of reciprocating inside the hollow cylinder portion, and inserted through an inlet of the spindle, a flange portion surrounding the piston rod, disposed on an inlet side of the cylinder portion, and contacting an inner circumferential surface of the spindle, and a sealant disposed between the flange portion and one surface of the bent portion facing the flange portion, wherein a bent portion is formed on an inlet of the spindle to surround the flange portion.
Fluid damper for bodies that are movable relative to one another, comprising a piston that is movably guided in a cylinder
The invention relates to a fluid damper for bodies that are movable relative to one another, said damper comprising a piston that is movably guided in a cylinder. At least one through opening is provided in the piston and/or between the piston and the cylinder for through-flowing fluid. Adjustment means are provided on the fluid damper for adjusting a limitation least of the maximum possible through-flow cross section for the fluid at least one passage opening. The piston is connected to a piston rod leading out of the cylinder. The adjustment means comprises detent connection which is pushed, in a radially non-twistable manner, onto the end of the piston rod located in the cylinder, and holds the piston in a desired position in the cylinder.
Fixing Device
A fixing device for fixing a second component part at a stationary first component part to be swivelable around a swiveling axis 2 having a cylinder that is displaceable transverse to the swiveling axis and filled with a fluid, a piston displaceably guided in the cylinder that divides the interior of the cylinder into a first working chamber and a second working chamber, with a first valve device that connects the first working chamber to the second working chamber when pressure in the first working chamber is higher than the pressure in the second working chamber, and a second valve device that connects the second working chamber to the first working chamber when pressure in the second working chamber is higher than the pressure in the first working chamber.
Safety strap apparatus to protect a super single truck rim from damage during a tire blowout
A safety strap apparatus for use with a vehicle's super single tire to protect a rim of the tire from damage during a tire blowout is provided. The super single tire and rim are coupled to an axle mechanically coupled to a frame of the vehicle by a shock absorber. The safety strap apparatus includes a strap assembly having a first elongated strap coupled to a second elongated strap, the strap assembly having a left end portion having an overlapped portion with end portions of the first and second elongated straps and a right end portion including another end portion of the first elongated strap, the left and right end portions being coupled together to create a loop. The loop is disposed around top and bottom portions of the shock absorber. Tension in the strap assembly supports the rim above the ground during the tire blowout.
SHOCK ABSORBER
A shock absorber includes a plate and a lock portion. The plate is secured to a distal end side with respect to a nut of a piston rod by crimping the piston rod. The lock portion is disposed on a bottom portion side of a cylinder and locks the plate. The shock absorber is maintained in a contraction state by the plate being locked by the lock portion.
