Method and system for an interactive group-specific player board game
20230141684 · 2023-05-11 ·

An interactive group-specific player board game method comprising the steps of drawing a grid and labeling a plurality of blocks in a sequential process from 1 to n, wherein n depends on the size of the grid, rolling a dice by each player sequentially and recording a number on the dice until each box on the grid has a unique number, establishing a set of at least 6 rules by the group-specific players, each rule corresponding to a unique action to be performed by the players, rolling the dice by at least one player, moving the number of blocks on the board game corresponding to the number on the dice, receiving the action to be performed by the player based on the unique number on the grid established by the set of rules, determining the completion of the action by the remaining group-specific players.

Gaming system leveraging physical polyhedron with M faces rotationally linked to ordered data set of N elements
09846521 · 2017-12-19 ·

A communications pathway between a data handling system and a physical input device can be established. The system can include one or more processors, memories, and program instructions. The device can be a physical object having N faces along an axis of rotation. The N faces can include a display. A content item from an ordered dataset of content items can be presented within a field of a graphical user interface of the display. A number of discrete items in the ordered dataset of content items is M, where M is greater than N. Rotations of the object can be detected along the axis of rotation. Each rotation of one of the N faces can results in navigation through the dataset of content items. Responsive to each navigation through the dataset of items can result in a corresponding presentation of the navigated to one of the items within the field.

DICE WITH CURVED, BUT NON-SPHERICAL SURFACES, CERTAIN OF WHICH FEATURE NONUNIFORM DISPLAY PROBABILITIES
20170333782 · 2017-11-23 ·

The current document is directed to gaming dice, including physical dice and virtual dice represented on an electronic display or viewing screen. Certain of the currently disclosed gaming dice have approximately ovoid, prolate spheroid, or ellipsoid shapes that are modified to include planar surfaces. Other of the disclosed gaming dice have angular shapes, including cubes, tetrahedrons, octahedrons, and other regular shapes that are modified to provide nonuniform probabilities of position landings.

Information control method and electronic device

The invention discloses an information control method and an electronic device. The information control method is applied to a first electronic device, and the first electronic device is connected with a second electronic device. The method includes: detecting feature information of the first electronic device according to a connection relation between the first electronic device and the second electronic device; and controlling the first electronic device according to the feature information.

PROJECTION OF INTERACTIVE ENVIRONMENT

An interactive environment image may be projected onto one or more surfaces, and interaction with the projected environment image may be detected within a three-dimensional space over the one or more surfaces. The interactive environment image may be a three dimensional image, or it may be two dimensional. An image is projected onto a surface to provide a visual representation of a virtual space including one or more of the virtual objects, which may be spatially positioned. User interaction with the projected visualized representation of the virtual space may be detected and, in response to user interaction, the projected visualized representation may be changed.

Gamebook with a spinner mechanic
20220305838 · 2022-09-29 ·

A gamebook with a spinner mechanic is provided that allows a player to enact an interactive activity such as but not limited to dungeon exploration, art creation, board game, or maze. The gamebook provides the spinner mechanic under the activity sheets, with cutout sections enabling players to see and interact with the spinner on every sheet of the gamebook. Tabbed sheets may provide player instructions for activities, enabling complex activities and algorithms to be enacted in a gamebook medium. The gamebook may have pullout sections to track activity progress such as a pullout page that unfolds with progress trackers such as paperclips attached for further player interaction. This gamebook with a spinner mechanic may also be provided in a digital medium to enact the same interactive activity experience for players who do not have access to a physical gamebook.

Apparatus and Method for Playing a Hybrid Card Game

A gaming apparatus and method are disclosed wherein a gaming surface having distinct betting locations is provided in order to assist in the play of a hybrid version of blackjack and poker games having a side bet. The gaming surface includes a main betting spot for the blackjack game and a separate raised betting platform for the side bet to keep the bets from being comingled. The side bet of the hybrid game is based on whether or not the dealer's hand is a qualifying poker hand. Multipliers and a progressive jackpot are used during the hybrid game to increase the potential winnings.

Dice Rolling System
20170274276 · 2017-09-28 ·

A dice rolling system includes an electronic gaming unit that may be manipulated to play electronic games. A pair of dice is provided and each of the pair of dice may be tossed during game play. A dice unit is provided and the dice unit may be positioned on a support surface. The dice unit is electrically coupled to the electronic gaming unit. Each of the dice is tossed onto the dice unit. The dice unit includes an optical reader and the optical reader reads indicia on the dice when the dice are tossed onto the dice unit. Thus, the optical reader may determine a number rolled with the pair of dice. The dice unit communicates the number to the electronic gaming unit. Thus, the number may be incorporated into a game played on the electronic gaming unit.

Game object randomization apparatus for electronic gaming machine
11395958 · 2022-07-26 · ·

An improved system, apparatus and method for flipping gaming objects, such as dice, in a random, reliable manner. An object flipping platform can be contained within a container associated with an electronic gaming machine. The container can be at least partially transparent so that users (e.g., game players) are able to view the objects flipping. The object flipping platform can be used to flip objects (e.g., dice) from one side to an opposite side, and vice versa.

STRING HANDLER AND METHOD FOR HANDLING STRINGS USEABLE FOR GAMES
20230298430 · 2023-09-21 ·

Word games are known from for example Scrabble®. Roulette is another game having a high level of randomness to it. A disadvantage of the current games involving randomness, more specific a lot of randomness, is that the word skills of players with a strategy insight is not challenged very well. According to the invention, a string handler comprising: a random character generator for generating a random character randomly selected from a set of characters; a memory arranged for storing a string of characters selected from the set of characters, wherein the string has a minimum length of three characters, and marks associated with each character of the string; an input device for inputting at least one activation tag associated with at least one character of the string; an output device for conveying an indication to the user; a controller configured for: retrieving from the memory the string and when present the marks; receiving from the input device at least one activation tag; after receiving the at least one activation tag, receiving from the random character generator the random character; after receiving the random character, associating a mark with each character in the string if the character equals the random character, and if an activation tag was associated with the character in the string; after associating and if all characters in the string are associated with a mark, providing an indication to the output device and resetting the string; and after the preceding step, storing in memory the string and when present one or more marks.
