Education, logic, and puzzle systems, methods, and techniques
New and unique puzzle mechanics, systems, and methods are described herein. A puzzle grid comprising linearly arranged intersecting words, with each individual letter placed on a separate puzzle tile, may be divided into a plurality of puzzle pieces, where each puzzle piece is formed of one or more contiguous puzzle tiles. Each puzzle piece shape conforms to one of a predefined set of shapes. To mix up the puzzle grid, identically shaped puzzle pieces may be randomly shuffled and rotated if required so that the puzzle layout remains unchanged whereas the letters are scrambled. Also puzzle pieces whose shape exhibit rotational symmetry may be optionally rotated within the puzzle layout. Letters may maintain upright legibility. A user may then attempt to solve the puzzle by swapping identically shaped puzzle pieces and optionally rotating puzzle pieces whose shape exhibit rotational symmetry.
PUZZLE SET
A puzzle set with a plurality of puzzle pieces is provided. Each puzzle piece has at least four puzzle piece sections. The puzzle piece sections comprise a shape that is square, hexagonal, octagonal, circular or any geometric shape. Also, the plurality of the puzzle pieces comprises different geometric shapes such as I-shaped, T-shaped, L-shaped, O-shaped, S-shaped, J-shaped, and Z-shaped. The plurality of the puzzle pieces are arranged against, connected to each other, or stack on each other to shape the pattern of the puzzle pattern and complete the puzzle.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL LOGIC PUZZLE
A three-dimensional logic puzzle is provided. The puzzle includes a plurality of identically shaped puzzle components of an irregular form. Each puzzle component is configured to engage with another identically shaped puzzle component via projections and recesses formed on the sides of the puzzle components. The plurality of puzzle components are interengagably assembled into the form of a predetermined three-dimensional geometric shape.
Assembly and method for frame side matching game play
A game play assembly incorporating 24 substantially square frames, each substantially square frame having a quadruple of zones; and incorporating 96 objects wherein a first third of the 96 objects are of a first type, wherein a second third of the 96 objects are of a second type, wherein the remainder of the 96 objects are of a third type, wherein the 96 objects are divided in 24 four element rotational series of objects, wherein each four element rotational series of objects is supported upon and aligned with one of the quadruples of zones, and wherein each four element rotational series of objects is different from each other four element rotational series of objects.
Snap button and a method of use
A button assembly includes a back member, a socket or a stud secured with an eyelet or a rivet to the back member and a shell crimped onto the back member. Indicia may be disposed on the exterior surface of the shell. The button assemblies, each with a unique image, can be used to form a puzzle or provide a method of personal expression or a method of communication.
CREATIVE FIGURE BOARD GAME LEARNING-BY-PLAYING TOOL, SYSTEM, AND METHOD
A creative figure board game play and learning kit according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: a board game plate on which a plurality of unit figures having predetermined shapes is disposed at predetermined intervals to define a main set of figures; and shape piece blocks which are disposed on the board game plate by being rotated, moved, symmetric, and reversed along an outer circumferential portion of at least one of the unit figures, and connected to one another to define a sub-set of figures that divides a part of the main set of figures, in which the shape piece blocks have a single transformable shape piece block which is transformable to correspond to shapes of the remaining shape piece blocks.
Game pieces and a set of such game pieces
Game piece in the form of a polyomino or polycube or similar, consisting of a number of blocks (5) that are put together in an orthogonal pattern, characterized in that the game piece (4) comprises at least two parts (6) that are each formed by a number of aforementioned blocks (5) connected together in a fixed way, whereby these parts (6) are slidably coupled with respect to one another in such a way that they enable a number of forms of game pieces (4) to be formed with the game piece (4) concerned.
