STEERING APPARATUS AND ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE
A steering apparatus and an all-terrain vehicle are provided. The steering apparatus comprises a housing provided with a circumferential movement limiting part; an input shaft disposed in the housing; an output shaft disposed in the housing and being in transmission coupling with the input shaft, wherein the output shaft is movable axially in an axial direction of the output shaft in the housing; and a circumferential movement limiting member disposed on the output shaft and being in fit with the circumferential movement limiting part for limiting circumferential movement.
Gearbox assembly
A gearbox assembly comprising a plurality of component parts in torque transmission connection via gear, shaft and/or housing components; the assembly further comprising means for providing redundancy at selected locations where failure can lead to loss of torque transmission between component parts of the assembly.
Gearbox assembly

Gear unit having a housing
A gear unit includes a housing, a trough for guiding oil and reducing losses due to splashing surrounding a circumferential section of a toothing part, the trough including at least three parts, e.g., at least one bottom plate and two side walls, the bottom plate being screw-connected to the two side walls, the trough being fastened to the housing, the trough having an opening, the bottom plate and the side walls being stamped bent parts.

PORTAL GEAR HUB WITH HEAT SINK FINS
A portal gear box assembly for an all-terrain vehicle includes a portal gear box housing with a set of gears contained therein, and a plurality of heat-radiating fins extending from the housing wall and effective to radiate heat from the housing at a faster rate than would be radiated in the absence of the fins. The fins may extend outward or inward from the housing, and may be formed integrally with one or more of the walls of the housing, or may be removably attached to the housing. Preferred fins comprise a generally rectangular, planer surface extending radially from a wall of the housing.
Housing member for power transmission device
A housing member for a power transmission device connected to a driving source via a torque converter housed in the housing member includes a torque converter side mating face closer to the torque converter. The torque converter side mating face has a single-wall structure and a double-wall structure, wherein two adjacent fastening regions are connected circumferentially by a wall in the single-wall structure, and wherein two adjacent fastening regions are connected circumferentially by each of two walls in the double-wall structure. The torque converter side mating face includes: an upper half region in which the double-wall structure has a greater proportion in area than the single-wall structure; and a lower half region in which the double-wall structure has a less proportion in area than the single-wall structure.

Geared motor
A geared motor, e.g., a gear unit or a bevel gear unit, which is able to be driven by an electric motor, includes a housing part, which is produced by a die casting method, during or after which sliders are moved, in particular pulled out, in respective drawing directions for the demolding, and an input shaft. The housing part includes a channel, demolded in a first drawing direction, in particular, using a first slider, the channel being adapted to extend through the wall of the housing and ending in the interior space region of the gear unit. The drawing direction has a non-vanishing angle in relation to the axis of rotation of the input shaft, its angle in particular amounting to between 5° and 45°, e.g., between 5° and 20°.
Driving force transmission apparatus
The continuously variable transmission includes a transmission case having a side cover, a housing, and a case sandwiched between the side cover and the housing, an oil pump disposed in the transmission case, and a pair of gears disposed in the transmission case. An axial rib having a linear shape extending from the side cover toward the housing is formed on an outer wall surface of the case at a position adjacent to the pair of gears. The axial rib is positioned on a straight line extending from the oil pump in the vertical direction and is locally positioned at a position where the meshing reaction force of the pair of gears is suppressed.
