SEAL WITH SIDING CHANNEL

A seal useful in sealing slide out rooms may be used singularly or in pairs to straddle a wall through which the opening is located. The seal includes a passageway for containing cabling. The passageway is cooperatively formed by a base, an offsetting member, a movable bulb, and a deformable rib. In use, the movable bulb may be lifted to access the passageway. When closed, the movable lid presses against and deforms the rib to create a substantially water-tight seal around the passageway.

The hanger assembly includes a hanger having a respective radially-outer surface and a radially-extending surface, as well as a first annular wedge having a respective radially-outer surface with a first annular wedge surface texture. The radially-extending surface is configured to engage a shoulder of the housing of the wellhead while the hanger assembly is in a landed position within the housing of the wellhead, and the first annular wedge surface texture is configured to engage a respective-radially inner surface of the housing of the wellhead while the hanger assembly is in a sealed position within the housing of the wellhead.

METAL TO METAL VEE SEAL
20210317914 · 2021-10-14 · ·

A system to provide at least two circumferential metal to metal seals between coaxial tubulars. Where a first tubular includes a circumferential shoulder having a circumferential first metal seal and a circumferential second metal seal. A second tubular has a circumferential shoulder that matches and abuts the first tubular circumferential shoulder. Each metal seal is of a material having a higher yield strength than the second tubular shoulder such that the first metal seal and the second metal seal will penetrate the material of the second tubular shoulder thereby providing a seal. Additionally a test port is provided from the exterior of the exterior tubular to a point on either the first or second tubular between the first and second metal seals.

Hydraulic tool mount and sealing piston for such a mount
20210108728 · 2021-04-15 ·

The invention relates to a hydraulic tool mount having a bore into which a sealing piston is inserted, wherein the sealing piston comprises a pin, a seal and a head which are arranged one behind the other in an axial direction (A) and thus form a stack, wherein the seal comprises a circumferential sealing lip for abutment and sealing against an inner wall of the bore in order to achieve a first sealing effect, and the bore comprises a sealing seat which, when the sealing piston is inserted, forms a stop for the head in axial direction (A), so that, in an end position of the sealing piston, the head abuts the sealing seat and thereby closes the bore in order to achieve a second sealing effect. The invention further relates to a corresponding sealing piston.

Method for filling printing ink in electrowetting display substrate and method for producing electrowetting display panel

This disclosure provides a method for filling printing ink in an electrowetting display substrate and a method for producing the electrowetting display panel. The electrowetting display substrate comprises a first substrate. The first substrate has pixel grids formed by pixel walls. The method for filling printing ink in an electrowetting display substrate comprises steps of: filling a mixture of an oil-containing printing ink and a solvent into the pixel grids, wherein the solvent has a boiling temperature lower than that of the oil, and the printing ink is soluble in the solvent; and vaporizing the solvent at a temperature that is lower than the boiling temperature of the oil and higher than or equal to the boiling temperature of the solvent. The method may adjust the filling height of the printing ink effectively, and allow the filling heights of the printing ink in all pixel grids to be substantially the same, so as to enhance the display effect of the electrowetting display panel.

Screw-threaded working cylinder

A screw-threaded working cylinder includes a tubular cylinder that an end region. The end region has a first thread. The end region has a tapered wall section and the tapered wall section has an axial annular surface. A closure has a second thread and the closure is screwed by the second thread into the first thread in a final mounting position. The closure has a mating axial annular surface. The axial annular surface and the mating axial annular surface are pressed in a positive fitting contact to one another in the final mounting position for defining a pressure contact surface. The pressure contact surface defines a sealing plane, and a surface pressure in an area of the pressure contact surface that causes a deformation of the tubular cylinder and the closure. The deformation occurs within an elastic limit over a range from zero applied pressure to a maximum permissible pressure by a pressure medium for the working cylinder. A piston unit is accommodated in the tubular cylinder.
