Push-activated tub spout

A tub spout with a diverter mechanism includes a housing having an external surface and an internal cavity that includes a spout outlet. A water supply conduit is located within the internal cavity and provides a fluid path that is in fluid communication with the spout outlet. A push button extends outwardly of the external surface of the housing and is movable relative to the housing between a non-diverting position where water exits the spout outlet and a diverting position where water is prevented from exiting the spout outlet. A diverter gate is positioned within the internal cavity to selectively block the fluid path and is coupled for movement with the push button. A resilient member biases the push button to the non-diverting position.

The actuation rod is positioned within the outer housing, which is couplable to a tail stem protector of the valve. The actuation rod may have a helical slot formed therein. The actuation rod may be rotatably coupled to the outer housing. The indicator flag may be coupled to the actuator rod and may extend radially therefrom. The follower may be couplable to a tail stem of the valve. The follower may extend in a direction perpendicular to the extent of the tail stem. The follower may extend through a slot in the tail stem protector and into the helical slot of the actuation rod when the valve position indicator is coupled to the tail stem protector.

The fixed valve plate is in watertight contact with the valve seat, and the movable valve plate and valve plate overlap. A flow channel for fluid is formed among the valve seat, fixed valve plate and movable valve plate. The driving piece is in contact with the movable valve plate. The pulling structure includes a shaft lever and drawing piece. The press structure pulls the shaft lever to move, and the shaft lever pulls the drawing piece through a pull rod, so that the driving piece drives the movable valve plate to slide laterally.

Relating to gate valves

A gate valve (10) is provided and comprises: a valve body (12,14) including an aperture (20, 22); a gate (42) reciprocally movable within the body between a first position in which the aperture is occluded to a second position in which the aperture is open; a bearing member (36a, 36b) over which the gate moves in the body; and a loading member (30a, 30b) for urging the bearing member against the gate. The loading member comprises a lattice-like elastomeric mat (30a, 30b).

The ventilation valve (100) comprises a structural main housing (1, 2) containing a valve unit (3, 4, 5) and respective ventilation channels (6, 7, 9, 10, 13, 14, 16) providing open communication between the tank and the atmosphere, and the valve unit includes a movable float body (4) obstructing liquid ingress into the tank through said ventilation valve (100). The valve unit is in the form of a replaceable valve module which includes the float body (4) which is received in a valve housing (3). The structural main housing (1, 2) includes a socket part (2) and one from the socket part (2) releasable cover part (1) in order to provide access to the replaceable valve module (3, 4, 5).
