Drain petcock

A drain petcock having a central channel for drainage, a side wall aperture for draining, and a closing plug that both closes the central channel and overlies the side wall aperture. The partial removal of the closing plug enables a controlled flow for initial draining. A full removal of the closing plug enables a more controlled flow through the central channel for further draining.

Angle Stop Valve With Dual Barbed, Male Fittings for Cross-Linked Polyethylene (PEX) Engagement

A stop valve having uniquely dimensioned valve inlet shanks and valve outlet shanks, each shank circumscribed by a plurality of concentric flanges adapted to act as barbs for engaging PEX piping.

TWO-WAY VALVE FOR FLOW RATE CONTROL AND TEMPERATURE CONTROL DEVICE USING THE SAME
20200124187 · 2020-04-23 · ·

Provided are a two-way valve for flow rate control and a temperature control device using the same, which can linearly control a flow rate of a fluid with good accuracy as compared to a switching valve in which a communication hole is simply formed in a valve element so as to open a flow passage through alignment with an outflow portion. The two-way valve for flow rate control, includes: a valve main body (6), which includes a valve seat (8) having a columnar space, and has a first valve port (9) formed in one end portion of the valve main body in an axial direction of the valve seat (8) so as to allow flow of a fluid, and a second valve port (11) that is formed in a peripheral wall of the valve seat (8) to allow flow of the fluid and has a rectangular cross section; a valve element (12), which is arranged in a freely rotatable manner in the valve seat (8) of the valve main body (6), and has a shape forming a part of a cylindrical shape having a predetermined central angle () so as to linearly change an opening area of the second valve port (11); and drive means (3) configured to rotate and drive the valve element (12).

ROTATION-RESISTANT PUSH-ON CONDUIT COUPLING CARTRIDGE

The present disclosure relates to a rotary plug valve and, more particularly, to a rotary plug valve having a fluid conduit cartridge including components that are assembled in a manner allowing for the rotation of a valve handle without rotation of the entire valve or supply line. Illustratively, a retainer ring and a backer ring are coupled with a gripper ring positioned therebetween. Coupling of the retainer ring and the backer ring creates compression on locking tabs of the grip ring, holding the locking tabs in place between tangs of the backer ring and preventing rotation of the gripper ring.

HIGH PRESSURE VALVES
20190383405 · 2019-12-19 ·

A high pressure valve having a valve body with a cylindrical bore and a movable member for selectively moving between an opened valve position for opening the cylindrical bore and a valve closed position for closing the cylindrical bore. An outer surface of the movable member exposed to the cylindrical bore in the valve closed position has a recess defined therein.

MULTIFUNCTION VALVE
20190368620 · 2019-12-05 · ·

A multifunction valve includes a valve body defining an inlet, and outlet and an interior chamber. A flow control gate may be disposed within the interior chamber and comprises one or more protrusions configured to provide a high level of precision control of a fluid flow rate through the multifunction valve as the flow control gate is rotated through an arcuate range of positions. The protrusions may comprise a cut-out portion, wherein the size and/or shape of the cut-out may be configured to modify the fluid flow rate through the multifunction valve. A method of modulating a fluid flow rate includes directing fluid flow through a multifunction valve from an inlet to an outlet, the multifunction valve including a flow control gate, adjusting the flow rate through the multifunction valve by rotating a control shaft to position the flow control gate to variably occlude the outlet of the multifunction valve.

Rotary plug valve

A plug valve assembly includes a valve carried in a valve body and including a spindle coupled to a plug. The spindle may have an appendage coupled to a sidewall of the plug, and circumferentially extending about a rotational axis less than 180 angular degrees, such that the spindle appendage is registrable with a valve body outlet to selectively reinforce the plug sidewall and thereby resist blowout of the plug sidewall into or through the valve body outlet. The spindle may be composed of nylon and the plug may be composed of liquid silicone rubber.

MANUFACTURING A VALVE PLUG TO REDUCE EROSION
20240142003 · 2024-05-02 ·

A closure member is configured for use in a valve. These configurations may include a plug with grooves or flutes that extend along its length. Inserts in the flutes may comprise materials, like ceramics, that are different than the material that forms the core or base portion of the plug. These inserts are useful to slow erosion of the device, particularly in the flutes, which form an outwardly-facing surface that is subject to high velocity flow in the valve. This feature can extend service life of the plug, particularly in highly-erosive process fluids, like particle-entrained fluids commonly found in hydrocracking or refining operations.

VALVE STRUCTURE WITH ELASTIC ANTI-LEAKAGE MEMBER
20190154158 · 2019-05-23 ·

A valve structure with an elastic anti-leakage member includes a spool, a seat, and a switch. The spool body has at least one inner notch formed on the side of the spool body, and the inner notch has at least one elastic anti-leakage member installed in the inner notch. The spool is contained inside the seat, and the elastic anti-leakage member is located in the inner chamber of the inner notch and has a surface elastically abutting the internal cavity wall of the inner chamber.
