One variation of a method for executing an instance of a virtual multiplayer game includes: at a game console, receiving a selection for a game; identifying a group of players though peripheral devices wirelessly connected to the game console; identifying a particular player, in the group of players, exhibiting less experience with the game than other players in the group of players; rendering a virtual public game environment on the main display; at a first time, at a particular peripheral device associated with the particular player, issuing a prompt for a first game action based on a state of the virtual public game environment; at the game console, updating the virtual public game environment on the main display based on the first game action submitted by the particular player; and recording a milestone for the particular player according to the first game action.

Shooting training and game system with virtual target
09733048 · 2017-08-15 · ·

A shooting training and game system with virtual targets is revealed. The system includes a main controller, a projection module, a lens module, and a shooting tool. The shooting tool can be a real gun or a laser gun. By hardware and software of the main controller, the projection module projects a light beam to a screen therefront to form a target image area with at least one static or dynamic virtual target. Then the lens module is aligned to the target image area for detecting and obtaining relative positions and coordinates of each shot formed on the target image area by the shooting tool. Thereby an error of each shot is calculated for evaluation of shooting accuracy. The shooting training and game system is more interesting, optional and used more efficiently.

Dynamic quest-based narrative for amusement park

A dynamic quest-based experience system of an amusement park includes a memory storing instructions and a processor configured to execute the instructions to cause the processor to receive a user input from a computing device indicative of starting a dynamic quest-based narrative, in which the dynamic quest-based narrative includes a plurality of sets of information. The instructions further cause the processor to place an identifier associated with the computing device in a virtual queue associated with a narrative endpoint of the amusement park, select a set of information from the plurality of sets of information based on a determined parameter, wherein the set of information is associated with a requested task, and output the set of information to the computing device.

Supplemental video content on a mobile device

Methods, systems, devices, and software are described for providing supplemental content for display on a mobile device. In one embodiment, a system includes a video display that displays video content. A mobile device with an integrated display may track the video display, with a video camera or other methods, and identify the video content in the tracked video display. The mobile device may access supplemental content related to the identified video content, and display the accessed supplemental content on the integrated display.
