Apparatus and method of video playback
A method of video playback includes obtaining a 3D reconstruction of at least part of an environment, obtaining video footage of an activity within that at least part of the environment, obtaining data indicating a position and orientation of a first camera within the at least part of the environment that recorded the obtained video footage, and rendering a view of the video footage in alignment with a corresponding view of at least part of the 3D reconstruction, responsive to the position and orientation of the first camera within the at least part of the environment.
Computer server, a method and computer program product
A game server receives game data associated with a computer implemented game played on a user device. Using this data the computer implemented game is recreated in dependence to generate video data which corresponds to the computer implemented game being played on the user device.

Systems, methods, and graphical user interfaces for updating display of a device relative to a user's body
An electronic device, while the electronic device is worn over a predefined portion of the user's body, displays, via a display generation component arranged on the electronic device opposite the predefined portion of the user's body, a graphical representation of an exterior view of a body part that corresponds to the predefined portion of the user's body. The electronic device detects a change in position of the electronic device with respect to the predefined portion of the user's body. The electronic device, in response to detecting the change in the position of the electronic device with respect to the predefined portion of the user's body, modifies the graphical representation of the exterior view of the body part that corresponds to predefined portion of the user's body in accordance with the detected change in position of the electronic device with respect to the predefined portion of the user's body.
VIRTUAL PROP DISPLAY METHOD FOR SEARCHING A VIRTUAL CONTAINER
A virtual prop display method includes controlling display of a scene interface of a virtual scene, the virtual scene comprising a virtual container. The method further includes, in response to receiving an operation controlling a virtual object to search the virtual container, controlling display of a search interface of the virtual container. The controlling display of the search interface includes controlling display, in the search interface, of a prop identifier at a storage location in the virtual container at a first stage of displaying the search interface, the prop identifier indicating that a virtual prop is stored at the storage location. The controlling display of the search interface further includes, after controlling display of the prop identifier, controlling display of the virtual prop at the storage location at a second stage of displaying the search interface, the second stage being after the first stage.
MOTION BLUR COMPENSATION THROUGH EYE TRACKING
A user's eyes and if desired head is tracked as the user's gaze follows a moving object on a display. Motion blur of the moving object is keyed to the eye/head tracking. Motion blur of other objects in the frame also may be keyed to the eye/head tracking.
Thermopile array fusion tracking
A simultaneous location and mapping (SLAM)-enabled video game system, a user device of the video game system, and a computer-readable storage medium of the user device are disclosed. Generally, the video game system includes a video game console, a plurality of thermal beacons, and a user device communicatively coupled with the video game console. The user device includes a thermopile array, a processor, and a memory. The user device may receive thermal data from the thermopile array, the thermal data corresponding to a thermal signal emitted from a thermal beacon of the plurality of thermal beacons and detected by the thermopile array. The user device may determine, based on the thermal data, its location in 3D space, and then transmit that location to the video game system.
ELECTRONIC APPARATUS AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD THEREOF
An electronic appliance is provided. The electronic appliance includes a communication interface, a memory storing at least one instruction, and a processor which is connected with the memory and the communication interface and controls the electronic apparatus. Here, the processor may, by executing the at least one instruction, based on an event for reading extended display identification data (EDID) stored in the memory at an external apparatus connected through the communication interface occurring, toggle a first signal related to the communication interface, and after the first signal is toggled, monitor a signal output from the external apparatus and identify whether the external apparatus failed to read the EDID information, and based on identifying that the external apparatus failed to read the EDID information, toggle a second signal related to the communication interface.
Image generation apparatus and image generation method using frequency lower than display frame rate
Methods and apparatus provide for generating an image by way of acquiring information relating to at least one of a position and a rotation of a camera operated by a user. The image is generated for display on a display unit viewed by the user. A rate at which the image is generated is at a first frequency, which is lower than a second frequency corresponding to a frame rate of the display unit.
