VALVE

Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a valve for an inflatable object. The valve is attached to the inflatable object and usable to control the flow of gas (such as air) into (or out of) the interior of the inflatable object to enable inflation (or deflation) of the inflatable object.

PNEUMATIC VALVE
20190049028 · 2019-02-14 ·

A pneumatic valve, includes an air chamber, a connector for supplying compressed air to the air chamber and one or more connectors for discharging compressed air from the air chamber. The valve includes an actuator with a mobile closure element which, when the actuator is activated, blocks the supply of compressed air via the supply connector, and when the actuator is deactivated, is arranged to permit the supply of compressed air via the supply connector. The actuator is configured such that the closure element, on deactivation of the actuator, is moved by a restoring force into the free position. A check valve with a spring is arranged at the supply connector. The elastic force of the spring in the free position of the closure element prevents back-flow of compressed air from the air chamber into the supply connector when there is no supply of compressed air at the supply connector.

High Pressure Cartridge Inflator
20190032802 · 2019-01-31 ·

A high pressure cartridge inflator has a body including an air inlet port connectible to a high pressure cartridge, an air outlet port connectible to a valve of an object to be inflated, an air discharge port, and defining a first channel extending from the air let port to the air outlet port and a second channel extending from the first channel to the air discharge port. A pressure indicator is disposed within the body and is fluidly connected to the first and second channels. A safety device is disposed in the second channel and is configured to selectively prevent and allow high pressure air in the high pressure cartridge to flow out of the body through the air discharge port.

Rapid-inflate valve stems and associated systems and methods

A valve assembly for controlling inflation and deflation is provided. The valve assembly includes a rapid-inflate valve having an annular body configured to couple to a valve stem port of a wheel and selectively permit gas flow into a tire. The valve has a sealing surface in a chamber with a slidable sealing member biased toward the sealing surface. In a closed position, the sealing member can be positioned in contact with the sealing surface to prohibit gas flow through the valve, and in an open position, the sealing member can be positioned away from the sealing surface to permit gas flow through the valve. Wheel can include dual valve stem ports. In this configuration, the first port has the rapid-inflate valve assembly and the second port can have a rapid-deflate valve stem, a rapid-deflate valve stem cap, a rapid-deflate to pressure set valve stem, or a standard valve stem.

POP-UP VALVE FOR MANAGING BACKFLOW
20240295271 · 2024-09-05 ·

A pop-up valve or valve assembly operable to manage backflow, the assembly configured with a stem or stem portion. The assembly includes a valve sleeve disposed on the stem. The valve sleeve is configured to engage the stem. A stem outside diameter is smaller than an inside diameter of the valve sleeve, such that the sleeve is able to move freely on the stem and also provide a restricted passage for airflow.

DRY SPRINKLER SYSTEM MANIFOLD ADAPTER

A manifold assembly is mountable to a piping manifold for a dry sprinkler system having a non-wet valve assembly separating pressurized gas on a downstream side thereof from a water supply on an upstream side thereof. The manifold assembly includes a single piece body having an inlet for removably coupling to, and receiving water from, an upstream wet standpipe, and an outlet for removably coupling to, and delivering water to, the non-wet valve assembly. A control valve assembly is mounted to the body and a mechanically independent flow detection switch is mounted to the body. Each of a test and drain valve and a pressure relief valve is fluidly connected with the body downstream of the control valve assembly and upstream of the outlet.

CONTROL VALVE FOR AN AIR MAINTENANCE TIRE

A control valve suitable for use with a tire and pump assembly is described that controls the flow of air from the pump into the tire. The control valve includes an optional bi-directional feature. The pathways alternatively operate to deliver ambient non-pressurized air to the air pumping tube in response to directional tire rotation against a ground surface.

TIRE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
20180162182 · 2018-06-14 ·

A tire management system includes a control valve and a check valve. A method for managing a tire includes: determining a pressure parameter value, determining an operational parameter for a valve based on the pressure parameter value, and controlling the valve based on the operational parameter.

Differential Pressure Type Inflating Device
20180128390 · 2018-05-10 ·

A differential pressure type inflating device, adapted for fast inflating the devices that need inflating, comprises a gas container, a relief valve, a gas nozzle, a pipe joint, a switchvalve, and a relief pipe. When external high pressure gas enters the gas container and renders the gas pressures in the gas container and the relief pipe reaching a balance condition, the switchvalve can be pressed to generate pressure drop in the relief pipe, which launches the relief valve and discharges the high pressure gas in the gas container from the gas nozzle. In this design, the gas container, relief valve, gas nozzle, relief pipe, and pipe joint are connected with screwing structures, so as to achieve the function of easy assembling.

INTEGRATED TIRE INFLATION VALVE

An integrated tire inflation valve comprises an inlet configured to receive air from an air tank, a pressure protection assembly configured to control air flow into the tire inflation system when an air pressure reaches a pre-set pressure level, a valve assembly in fluid communication with the pressure protection assembly, a pressure regulator configured to be adjusted to a desired pressure to thereby allow air through the pressure regulator at a desired level, a flow switch configured to selectively allow air therethrough, and an outlet configured to provide air from the flow switch to one or more tires of a vehicle. The inlet, pressure protection assembly, valve assembly, pressure regulator, flow switch, and outlet are all positioned within a single housing.
