BACKPACKING STOVE HAVING TIP VALVE

A tip valve and a cook system incorporating same that automatically stops the flow of gas to a burner when tipped over and that automatically resets when disconnected from the fuel canister to allow the flow of gas to resume when righted and reconnected are provided. The tip valve includes a ball bearing freely moveable between a fuel canister actuator pin and a tip seal within a bore having two different diameters at each end thereof. The transition between the two diameters forms a taper that may be continuous forming a smooth tapered bore, or discontinuous formed by at least one counter bore. The automatic resetting is provided without the use of a mechanical pin or member.

A gas safety valve for controlling a gas flow includes a valve body providing a body inlet port for coupling to a first gas supply and a body outlet port for coupling to an appliance, the valve body extending along a longitudinal axis between the body inlet port and the body outlet port, the valve body further providing an inlet bore extending downstream from the body inlet port, and an outlet bore extending to the body outlet port. A valve has a valve chamber having a valve inlet and a valve outlet, a ball located within the valve chamber and a valve seat provided at the valve outlet such that the ball is retained in the valve chamber upstream of the valve seat. The valve body includes an internal junction positioned upstream of the valve inlet, and a side inlet port.

Drop-in insert for a valve cage of a pump
11187341 · 2021-11-30 ·

A drop-in insert for a valve cage is adapted for use with a subsurface pump. The insert can be positioned in a valve cage housing. The insert includes a cradle, a base, a plurality of angled ribs, and an upper ring. In one embodiment, the insert may also include an extended nose region. Upper ring can abut an interior diameter of the housing, providing a smooth transition for pumped fluid, thereby decreasing turbulent fluid flow and promoting improved fluid flow during pumping operations. The insert can be dropped into position in the housing. Alternatively, the insert can be positioned in the housing by an interference fit or the like. The housing and insert can be part of a valve cage assembly that includes a ball, seat, seat plug, and end cap. The assembly may include an O-ring component which can cushion the insert, thereby prolonging the life of the insert.

VALVE SEAT WITH SEAL FOR USE WITH VALVE ELEMENT IN VALVE ASSEMBLY
20210364092 · 2021-11-25 ·

A valve assembly includes a valve body defining a fluid inlet in fluid communication with a fluid outlet. The valve body has an inner body surface defining an interior chamber extending between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet. A valve element is disposed within the interior chamber and rotatable through a range of positions relative to the outlet providing a high level of precision control of a fluid flow rate through the valve assembly. A valve seat with a seal is positioned around a valve element. The valve seat is configured to self-adjust its inner radial diameter to correspond to the outer radial diameter of the valve element to maintain a portion of an inner seat surface in contact with an outer valve surface of the valve element through the range of positions.

VALVE BODY
20220010887 · 2022-01-13 ·

A valve body, including a first cavity, a second cavity communicated with the first cavity through a second water inlet of the second cavity, a valve core and an elastic reset member; the valve core, arranged in the first cavity and coaxial with the second water inlet, includes a piston and a first ejector rod being coaxial with the piston; the piston is configured to open or close the second water inlet; the elastic reset member is configured to press the valve core to move in the axial direction to close the second water inlet. A self-locking level control valve is adopted. The water purifier achieves no reactive power loss, low emission and safe water quality, avoids frequent startup of the water purification system, and solves the technical problem of the “first glass of water” brought by the ultra-low pressure reverse osmosis pumpless water purification system.
