KIT FOR MOUNTING AN ACTUATOR TO A VALVE
An actuator mounting kit and method for mounting an automatic valve actuator to a manually operated valve. The mounting kit includes a mounting bracket and a stem driver. The mounting bracket is connectable to the valve and has a bottom portion with a stem aperture through which a valve stem is extendable and a tongue matingly engageable with a slot of the valve body. The mounting bracket has an upper portion with a driver aperture aligned with the stem aperture. The stem driver has a first end matingly engageable with the valve stem and a second end extendable through the driver aperture in a way that the actuator is matingly enageable with the second end of the stem driver when the actuator is connected to the upper portion of the mounting bracket.
KIT FOR MOUNTING A VALVE POSITION INDICATOR TO A VALVE
A valve position indicator mounting kit and method for mounting a valve position indicator to a manually operated valve. The mounting kit includes a mounting bracket and a stop plate assembly. The mounting bracket is connectable to the valve and has a bottom portion with a stem aperture through which a valve stem is extendable and being configured to be matingly engageable with the valve body. The mounting bracket has an upper portion with a shaft aperture. The locking plate assembly has a base portion matingly engaged with the valve stem and a shaft connection portion mounted to the top portion of the mounting bracket assembly and having a shaft matingly engaged with the shaft connecting portion of the locking plate assembly in a way that rotation of the valve stem via the handle causes the shaft to rotate.
ROTARY VALVE DEVICE
The rotary valve device includes a valve 30, a housing H having a joining surface 14b.sub.1 located at ends of a fitting hole 14a and a through hole 16, a thermostat 110 partially accommodated in the through hole 16, a cylindrical seal member 80, an urging spring 90, and a passage member 60. The passage member 60 includes a cylindrical holding member 61 that is fitted into the fitting hole 14a and holds the cylindrical seal member 80 and the urging spring 90, and a connector member 62. The connector member 62 includes an annular fitting recess 62a.sub.3 into which a part of the cylindrical holding member 61 is fitted, and a detour passage 62a.sub.4 that is divided from the fitting recess by a wall portion to partially accommodate the thermostat and bypasses the cylindrical seal member to communicate with the through hole.
BALL VALVE WITH INTEGRATED FITTING
Embodiments provide a fitting that is integrated into the valve body of a ball valve during the manufacture of the valve body. The fitting and a cartridge may be overmolded to create the valve body. The mold may apply a pressure onto the fitting during the molding process. The fitting may transfer the pressure of the mold onto the cartridge. The fitting may transfer a sufficient amount of force to seal valve seats of the ball valve.
Valve for preventing distortion
Various valves capable of preventing distortion are disclosed. The valve comprises a metal member configured to have at least two sub metal members and a main body. Here, the sub metal members are included in the main body, and the main body is formed of plastic.
Gas cylinder valve
A valve for connection to a pressurized gas cylinder includes a housing including a gas cylinder aperture which is connectable to a gas cylinder, and a housing conduit which extends through the housing from the gas cylinder aperture to one or more inlet/outlet apertures so that the valve is capable of providing fluid communication between the gas cylinder through the housing conduit and the one or more inlet/outlet apertures. A flow control ball within the housing conduit is movable between open and closed positions. Ball seals have sealing surfaces corresponding to a shape of the flow control ball for substantially sealing the flow control ball in the housing conduit. Other features include components for mounting the ball seals though one of the inlet/outlet apertures; components for mounting a stem to the flow control ball including bearings; live ports; a tube which can be removably connectable from the rest of the housing; provision for receiving an EFV and/or a PRD in the valve housing; and at least one of the ball seals and stem bearings comprising polyetherimide or polyaryletherketone.
IMPROVEMENTS TO A VALVE ASSEMBLY
There is provided a valve assembly, the valve assembly including a body (8) in which there is housed at least one valve ball (22, 24), a movement assembly (32, 34) for moving the ball between closed and open positions with respect to a channel which passes through the body. At respective ends of the valve body there is provided sealing means (38) including a valve seat, biasing means to bias the valve seat towards contact with the ball, and at least one annular member engaged with the valve body to retain the valve seat, biasing means and at least one ball in the valve body and form a modular unit. Positioned in the valve body outwardly of each of the sealing means, there is provided a fitting means (50) engaged with the valve body and the form of the fitting means is selected and fitted to the modular unit independently of the said at least one annular member.
BALL DRAIN WYE STRAINER VALVE ASSEMBLY
A ball drain wye strainer valve assembly includes a wye strainer located adjacent to a T-ball valve within a unitary body. The ball drain wye strainer valve assembly includes an additional valve member. The combination of the valve members permits the flushing of the wye strainer screen from either upstream or downstream. A drain is also incorporated to allow for the system draining, flushing, or air-purging during the initial installation and subsequent maintenance of the screen and wye strainer.
ASSEMBLY FOR COMPRESSING A BALL VALVE SEAT
An annular assembly for compressing a seat of a ball-valve, including: a valve body or insert, including an annular internal counter-bore that defines an inner counter-bore diameter; a sleeve inserted into the annular internal counter-bore, defining at least one outer diameter of the sleeve; the body or the insert defining with the sleeve an annular housing in which the assembly includes, in succession: a downstream stack of head rings, an annular head shim, a stack of mechanisms of compression, an annular base shim, and an upstream stack of base rings.
Valves and methods of access
Valves with a removable central section for access to parts of the valve, the valve securable between corresponding ends of a line, e.g. a flowline, process fluid line, or pipeline; such valves which are ball valves; and methods to access parts of a valve and/or a line interior.
