A valve for controlling fluid flow from an inlet of a pipe fitting to at least one outlet of the pipe fitting at an angle to the inlet. The pipe fitting includes an inner collapsible bellows fixed at a position opposite the inlet. The bellows has a support annulus at the other end adjacent the inlet, whereby, in a closed position, the bellows prevents fluid flow from the inlet to the at least one outlet as the fluid is trapped within the bellows. In an open position, the fluid can flow from the inlet to the at least one outlet when the bellows is collapsed.

An upper part (20) comprises a stem housing (4), having a stem (1) to which the membrane gasket (7) is connected, a spring (2) acting towards the stem. A control wheel (5), adapted to pull the stem out of the valve seat (21), is connected to the valve housing (8). The spring housing (4) has an integrated buffer (3) with the same internal diameter as the spring housing (4). The buffer (3) and the spring housing forms a continuous guide for the spring (2) and stem (1), and said buffer (3) has a lower surface adapted to form a contact surface for the membrane gasket (7) when the valve is in the fully open position. Also disclosed is a click-fixation for the assembling of the wheel to the stem.

Actuator for a valve and a valve comprising such actuator

Actuator for a valve, comprising a first piston, a first piston rod and a first fluid chamber for enabling movement of the first piston and the first piston rod. The actuator has a second piston, a second piston rod, the second piston rod being coaxially arranged with the first piston rod and radially enclosing at least a part of the first piston rod. A second fluid chamber is arranged for the second piston, for enabling movement of the second piston and the second piston rod. A first fluid channel is arranged in communication with each of the first and the second fluid chambers, for effecting, when fluid is introduced into the first fluid channel, movement of the first piston and the second piston. Also, a valve comprising such actuator is disclosed.

A device in a valve (1) comprises a valve housing (2) with at least a first (3) and a second (4) fluid port. A closure element (5) is arranged in the valve housing (2), said closure element (5) having a sealing portion (15) and comprising a diaphragm (30). The sealing portion (15) is movable along an axis of the closure element (5) by said diaphragm (30) between an open position and a closed position of at least one of the fluid ports of the valve housing. The closure element (5) together with the valve housing (2) forms a flow passage (11) in the valve housing (2) which communicates with said fluid ports when the sealing portion (15) leaves said closed position. A second sealing portion (14) of the closure element, which is an enclosing portion spaced from said axis, is arranged in contact with a support portion (25) of the valve housing (2). An abutment means (16) is arranged in contact along the periphery of said second sealing portion (14) in such a manner that said second sealing portion (14) is arranged between the support portion (25) and the abutment means (16). The abutment means (16) is arranged to transmit a force via said second sealing portion (14) toward the support portion (25) to provide a seal. Said force is, at least partly, a force exerted by a spring means arranged in the device.

PNEUMATIC VALVE WITH AN SMA ACTUATOR

A pneumatic valve features a fluid supply port, a fluid outlet port, and a fluid drainage opening. The valve includes a valve chamber with fluid supply, outlet, and trigger openings, and an actuator chamber connected to the trigger opening. An actuator with an SMA wire, actuating and resetting elements, and a printed circuit board is housed within the valve. A sealing element on the actuating element controls the trigger opening, while a membrane divides the valve chamber into two regions and facilitates plunger movement. The plunger connected to the membrane closes the fluid outlet opening in the unactuated state and opens it in the actuated state. The membrane includes a passage opening for fluid flow between the regions, with a smaller cross-section than the trigger opening, facilitating controlled fluid flow within the valve.

Fluid transfer device

A fluid transfer device for transferring fluid into or out of a fluid vessel, such as a tank, and is particularly useful in transferring fluids with particulates or high viscosity in a substantially aseptic, hygienic, or sterile manner. The device has a body with an elongate passage extending through the body. The body has a proximal end and a distal end. A longitudinally displaceable shaft is disposed in and extends along the passage in the body. A plug sealing the passage is at a first location. A diaphragm sealing the passage is at a second location intermediate the plug and the distal end of the passage. The shaft extends through and is secured to the diaphragm. A fluid transfer opening is located in the passage between the diaphragm and the plug. Longitudinal displacement of the shaft causes the fluid transfer opening to be in fluid communication with a fluid vessel, the diaphragm stretching to accommodate the displacement of the shaft while maintaining an aseptic seal of the passage.
