Mediating multiplayer electronic game sessions
An environment includes one or more clients, a game mediator server, and a game server connected by a network. The clients include a game mediator and a game. The game server executes game playing sessions of the games. The game mediator server and the game mediators form a game mediation infrastructure to mediate game playing sessions. For example, the game mediation infrastructure creates “lobbies” for game playing sessions and enables clients connected to lobbies to communicate with one another. The games receive interactions at the client and communicate with the game server to impact execution of game playing sessions. The game mediator server sends deep links to clients, e.g., to initiate game installation, or to start the game at a particular portion of the game. The game mediation infrastructure may also enrich gameplay by customizing gameplay and/or the lobby, e.g. based on events that occur during execution of the game playing session, or locations of the clients.

NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM HAVING INFORMATION PROCESSING PROGRAM STORED THEREIN, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
When a first input is performed in a predetermined scene, options including elements available in a predetermined game are presented. An element to be used in the predetermined game is determined on the basis of an operation input by a user. In response to a second input, the predetermined game using the determined element is executed. Meanwhile, at a predetermined timing before the predetermined game is started, an element to be used in the predetermined game is automatically determined. When a third input is performed in the predetermined scene, the predetermined game is executed using the automatically determined element. After the predetermined game is ended, a first reward is given to the user if the element used in the predetermined game is the element determined on the basis of the operation input by the user, and a second reward is given if the element is the automatically determined element.

PROGRAM TRIAL METHOD, SYSTEM, APPARATUS, AND DEVICE, AND MEDIUM
A program trial method includes: displaying a user interface of a host program; displaying a first image frame of a cloud application on the user interface of the host program in response to a trial event being triggered, the first image frame being obtained based on a first output of the cloud application loaded with a trial setting; and displaying a second image frame of the cloud application on the user interface of the host program, the second image frame being obtained based on a second output of the cloud application in response to an operation performed on the user interface.
APPLICATION STARTUP AND ARCHIVING
A method for starting an application is provided. In the method, a video that includes game content of a game application is played back. A startup operation to start the game application is received from a user during the playback of the video. The game application is started in response to the startup operation. Further, the game content of the started game application that is determined to match the game content of the video when the startup operation is received from the user is displayed. The game content of the started game application is determined based on when the startup operation is received from the user during the playback of the video.

Method for game console operation based on detection of change in controller state
A method, system and device for controller operation, comprises detecting a change in a state of the controller from a charging state to an operation state. A state of the computing device changes from a controller charging state to a controller operation state in response to detecting the change in the state of the controller. The computing device receives an input from the controller sends a visual indication of the input to a display device. Additionally, a method, system and device for enhanced controller charging, may comprise detecting a change in a controller state from an operation state to a charging state. A computing device determines whether an ignore input is present after detecting the change in controller state and automatically signs out of a user account or automatically goes into a standby mode when the ignore input is not present.
GAME PROGRAM, METHOD, INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, AND SYSTEM
A tooth brushing game includes starting counting a time that defines one play of a toothbrush game in response to starting the toothbrush game; capturing an image of a user; setting an area around a mouth by detecting a face area of the user from the captured image and detecting a facial part from the detected face area; detecting movement of an object including a toothbrush and a hand in the area around the mouth; controlling the toothbrush game based on the detected movement of the object; and stopping the counting of the time when the area around the mouth is not set but not stopping the counting when the movement of the object is not detected.
