Sorting computer applications or computer files and indicating a sort attribute in a user interface
Techniques are described for an intuitive and efficient GUI. In an example, a UI elements are presented on a GUI. Each one of the UI elements can corresponds to a set of computer applications or a set of computer files having attributes and each one of the UI elements can be selected to launch, as applicable, a computer application, a computer file, or a page about the computer application or computer file. A request to sort the UI elements can be received and can indicate at least one of the attributes as a sort factor. The UI elements are sorted accordingly and presented in an updated arrangement on the GUI. An attribute used in the sorting is presented within or in proximity to the UI elements, whereas another attribute not used in the sorting is not presented in the updated arrangement.
Game result overlay system
Systems and methods are directed to presenting, by one or more processors, a game result indicium and in response to a user-selection of the game result indicium, the system and method retrieves game play information related to a game play session. The system also generates, by the one or more processors, a game result overlay based on the game play information generated during the game play session, presents the game play overlay overlaid on a media content item to generate a composite media content item, and transmits the composite media item to a second user.

VIRTUAL CHARACTER SELECTION SEQUENCE ADJUSTMENT METHOD AND APPARATUS, DEVICE, STORAGE MEDIUM, AND PRODUCT
An electronic device displays a first selection screen and displays adjustment controls corresponding to information display positions of at least one second user. The electronic device receives a trigger operation on a first adjustment control. In accordance with the receiving, and responsive to a determination that the first adjustment control is in a first display status, the electronic device displays the first adjustment control in a second display status. In response to a determination that the trigger operation on the first adjustment control is accepted by a first target user, the electronic device displays a second selection screen that includes an exchange in the information display position of the first user and the information display position of the first target user. The disclosed implementations improve user interaction efficiency during virtual character selection in gaming applications.
Systems and methods for creating and sharing virtual and augmented experiences
Techniques for creating compelling extended reality (XR) environments, including virtual reality (VR) and mixed reality (MR), and other computer-generated experiences, are provided. In some embodiments, a VR and MR system, including a computer hardware- and software-based control system, controls a specialized headset, hand controls, and a distributed array of sensors and actuators to produce a VR or MR environment with compelling VR and MR display and social interaction features. In some embodiments, the VR and MR system creates and provides escalating levels of data access, permissions and experiences for users, based on different, multi-phased ratings. In some embodiments, a first rating sets a level of access to gameplay leading to a second rating. In some such embodiments, one user's VR or MR experience related to another user is modified aesthetically, haptically or otherwise, depending on the levels granted by another user, and other attributes.

Predictive data preloading
Methods, systems, and computer readable media for predictive preloading of game data are described. In some implementations, a method can include using a machine learning model of player data to predict which games (or game-related data assets) to begin preloading prior to a user making a game selection. Once the user makes a selection, any preloading not related to the selection can be terminated. Thus, during the time period when the user is viewing available game selections, a given number of selections can begin to be preloaded based on predictions from the machine learning model. The preloading can help reduce latency from game selection by the user to game start time.
VIRTUAL SCENE INTERACTION METHOD AND APPARATUS, DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A virtual scene interaction method is disclosed, including displaying a viewing page of a target cloud video, a play screen of a virtual scene being displayed in the target cloud video, the viewing page comprising N interaction triggering marks, an i.sup.th interaction triggering mark of the N interaction triggering marks being used for linking to an interaction progress point in the virtual scene, both i and N being positive integers, and i≤N; and displaying, when the i.sup.th interaction triggering mark is selected, a control page for the virtual scene starting from the interaction progress point linked by the i.sup.th interaction triggering mark.
Cloud-based system and method to track and manage objects
A system, method and computer program product automating time management, includes an automated time management framework using an AI engine to for making trade offs among tasks as unexpected events occur. Each day is divided into blocks of time called Skeds. Once a Sked has begun, scheduled tasks and tasks that have been manually or automatically added to the Sked are treated as a collection. It is determined if the Sked is balanced based on total available labor minutes compared time to perform uncompleted tasks. If not, a score is calculated for each uncompleted task based on its ratings, including priority, movability, optionality, difficulty, and/or unpleasantness of the task. The uncompleted tasks are ranked using the scores, and abandoned or moved to later Skeds based on the ranking until the Sked is balanced. The balancing process is repeated until the Sked is balanced and, if not, until an end thereof.
Games in chat
Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program and a method for providing games in a chat interface. A conversation interface is presented in a messaging application to enable a plurality of participants in a conversation to exchange messages with each other. A request from a first participant of the plurality of participants is received to launch a gaming application. In response to receiving the request from the first participant, a first message is transmitted to a second participant of the plurality of participants that indicates the first participant has launched the gaming application. In response to receiving the first message, an option is presented to the second participant in the conversation interface, the option associated with the gaming application to enable the second participant to join the first participant in the gaming application.
