Eccentric backflow preventer
A backflow prevention device includes a main pipe body extending along a first center longitudinal axis, at least one check valve disposed within the main pipe body, an inlet pipe connected to an inlet side of the main pipe body, and an outlet pipe connected to an outlet side of the main pipe body. The inlet pipe and the outlet pipe extend along a second center longitudinal axis. The first center longitudinal axis is offset with respect to the second center longitudinal axis in a direction perpendicular to the first and second center longitudinal axes. A center of the valve seat of the at least one check valve is offset with respect to the second center longitudinal axis in the direction perpendicular to the first and second longitudinal axes.
VARIABLE ORIFICE ROTARY VALVE FOR CONTROLLING GAS FLOW
A variable orifice rotary valve for controlling gas flow has a housing with a cylindrical interior passage, a housing opening extending from the interior passage through the housing and a rotatable valve element including a sidewall having a cylindrical external sidewall surface. A slot in the sidewall varies in depth linearly or nonlinearly along at least a portion of a circumferential length of the slot and terminates in an opening in the sidewall. The valve element is rotatably received within the interior passage such that rotation of the valve element determines a length and depth of the portion of the slot that overlaps with the housing opening. That portion of the slot comprises part of the fluid channel. A gas flow rate through the fluid channel is determined by the width, length and depth of the portion of the slot that overlaps with the housing opening.
Automatic Gas Valve with Concentric Solenoid
A valve with an inlet and an outlet has a solenoid valve as well as a pressure regulator within a housing. When the solenoid valve is off, no flow proceeds to the pressure regulator or outlet. When the solenoid valve is on, the pressure regulator functions as designed to regulate pressure out the outlet. The solenoid valve may have a seal acting on a second orifice and the pressure regulator may have a poppet acting on a first orifice. The first and second orifices may be parallel, colinear, and/or coaxial for many embodiments.

The present disclosure relates to a hydraulic fuse comprising: a fuse body defining a plenum, the plenum comprising: an inlet configured to couple to a first fluid location; and an outlet configured to couple to a second fluid location. The hydraulic fuse further comprises a first fuse element arranged to close the inlet, the first fuse element configured to open the inlet when a pressure differential between the first fluid location and the plenum reaches a first threshold; and a second fuse element arranged to close the outlet, the second fuse element configured to open the outlet when a pressure differential between the plenum and the second fluid location reaches a second threshold, wherein the first threshold is higher than the second threshold
Double Seat Valve
A double seat valve including a first closure element that can be brought into sealing contact with a first valve seat, a second closure element that can be brought into sealing contact with a second valve seat, a sensor object coupled to the first closure element, and a sensor apparatus that interacts with the sensor object is disclosed. The sensor apparatus comprises a sensor and an electronic evaluation unit. A manipulator designed to interact with the sensor object interacts with the second closure element. The sensor apparatus is designed for verification of the interaction of the manipulator with the sensor object.
Non-return check valve and check valve apparatus for vacuum system
A vacuum system non-return valve includes a baffle for extending across a flow path in the vacuum system and a valve member. The baffle has an aperture, a perimeter of the aperture has a valve seat. The valve member has a curved sealing surface configured to mate with the valve seat. The valve member and aperture are configured such that the valve member obscures the aperture and seals with the valve seat to impede a flow of fluid in a closed position and is displaceable in use to move away from the valve seat and allow a fluid flow in an open position; at least a portion of the surface of the baffle surrounding the aperture slopes towards the inlet end of the valve such that the aperture is smaller at the inlet end than it is at the outlet end.

A vacuum breaker valve includes a valve body and a vacuum breaking device mounted in the valve body. The valve body has a periphery provided with multiple air vent holes corresponding to the vacuum breaking device. The vacuum breaking device includes a mounting barrel, an elastic member, a braking member, a mounting plate, a water stop gasket, and a water inlet disk. The vacuum breaking device is assembled previously and then directly fitted into the valve body to construct the vacuum breaker valve. Thus, the vacuum breaking device and the valve body are combined together for a whole sale or the vacuum breaking device and the valve body are sold individually.

Drain Valve With Tapered Skirt Valve
Various embodiments of a device for regulating a fluid flow are described that can include first and second downwardly-sloping valves that are biased in a closed position to prevent odors from escaping the device. The device can also include first and second downwardly-sloping valve seats, and configured such that an end portion of the first valve can be seated beneath the first valve seat and an end portion of the second valve can be seated beneath the second valve seat when the first and second valves are in a closed position, respectively.
Beverage dispenser water supply connector
Aspects of the present disclosure include a connector that interfaces a beverage dispenser with an external water supply. The connector includes a backflow preventer that only allows water to flow from the external water supply to the beverage dispenser. Some aspects of the connector also include a pressure regulator configured to reduce incoming water pressure to a desired pressure. The connector is configured to be mounted to a suitable surface, such as the rear of the beverage dispenser.
