System and methods for biometric detection of play states, intrinsic motivators, play types/patterns and play personalities
Techniques are described herein for automatically determining play states, intrinsic motivators, play types/patterns and a play personality of a user/subject. Play personalities develop from activation of play states, and vary individually and are expressed in a variety of play type/patterns. These states, personalities, patterns and associated intrinsic motivations may be automatically determined by computing devices based on that user/subject's information, behaviors and biometric data. The play personality may be additionally used as the means for identifying and integrating intrinsic motivators into player-centric design which can alter and personalize user/subject/player engagement, experience and outcomes.
GAME PLATFORM
Computer-implemented methods and systems are provided for hosting a location-based virtual environment in which one or more users can participate. Geographic coordinates of the user in real world using data provided by a positioning system may be determined. The real world geographic coordinates of the user may be mapped to virtualized coordinates of an avatar in the virtual environment. The user's real world geographic coordinates may be compared to real world geographic coordinates of one or more entities having a presence in the virtual environment. The user may be presented with options for accepting or activating a first reward from the list of rewards. Responsive to the user selecting the first reward, the first reward may be activated for a first time period in association with one or more goods or services offered by the first entity. The user is rewarded in response to verifying the user has purchased the offered goods or services during the first time period.

Game retention value optimization system
A system has a server coupled to a data repository and software executing from a non-transitory medium on the processor, the software providing a site serving games to players connected to the server, and providing discovering instances of interaction with the server by first-time players, serving links to a first percentage of the first-time players for games having known high retention value, defined as a characteristic that first-time players who play the game return to the site within a specified period of time, serving links to a remaining percentage of the first-time players for games having no well-developed retention value, marking selection by first-time players of games having no well-developed retention value, monitoring the site for return time of players having selected games having no well-developed retention value, providing a return time period, and using the return time period, assigning or amending a retention value for the game.

INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, SERVER, PROGRAM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
It is an object of the present invention to enable a player playing a game to readily view an image that may serve as a reference for the game. A server 1 carries out communications with a terminal 2-2 that generates metadata when needed during the execution of a game, the metadata including one or more kinds of attribute information. A management unit 11 manages one or more sets of data, the sets of data each including: image data related to the game or location data of the image data, and the metadata. A correlation calculating unit 21 calculates a correlation between metadata generated by the terminal 2-2 at a certain timing and the metadata included in each of the one or more managed sets. An image-sending control unit 22 sends, to the terminal 2-2, the image data or location data included in the same set as metadata whose correlation satisfies a predetermined criterion.

Customized interactive computing environment
A customized interactive computing environment may allow for a customized interactive user experience. The interactive computing environment may be defined by session parameters to customize a session of the interactive computing environment. The session parameters may include customized interactive user objectives that may be defined by a user. Each objective may be defined with a number of points awarded to a user for completing the objective. Real-time interactive user data may be received from user devices for completion of the custom objectives. Custom profile information may be defined by a user to customize user interfaces provided to users that log into a session of the interactive computing environment. Data analysis about the session and/or the defined objectives may be generated and displayed to users to indicate progress or other data about the session.
Mystery boxes that adjust due to past spending behavior
