Fire hydrant nozzle
A fire hydrant nozzle includes an annular sleeve. The annular sleeve has an annular wall, an inlet end, and an outlet end. The inlet end has a fire hydrant connection element configured to couple with a fire hydrant outlet, the outlet end has a fire hose connection element configured to couple with a fire hose, and the fire hydrant connection element has a portion protruding radially inward.
High pressure plug
An insert for sealing a hole having a diameter. The insert includes a plug having a maximum outer diameter that is equal to or less than the diameter of the hole. The plug also has a sleeve, a core, and a pin. The sleeve has a length and a void. The core and the pin are both press-fit into the void at opposite ends of the void. The core has a first length, a first tapered outer wall, and a threaded hole extending partly through the core. The pin has a second length, a second tapered outer wall, and a passage extending there-through. The plug also has protrusions located on an outer surface of the sleeve.
Sealing Sleeve for Pipe Offsets
A sealing inner sleeve for inserting into pipes, includes two frustoconical or substantially cylindrically bent-round sleeves formed of steel sheets, wherein the free ends of the steel sheets of the sleeves overlap in their circumferential directions and an arresting device is arranged in each of these overlapping regions and wherein the two sleeves are arranged at a distance from one another in a deformable jacket tube.
PIPING COMPONENT HAVING A PLURALITY OF GROOVES
A piping component for a press fitting is provided that includes a body comprising a body inner diameter. A first end includes a first end inner diameter and an inner surface. A sealing recess is positioned between the first end and the body. The inner surface includes a plurality of grooves. The plurality of grooves is integrally formed with the first end and comprises a blunt surface configured for a press fit between a pipe and the piping component. The plurality of grooves comprises a groove inner diameter that is within about 10% of the body inner diameter and the first end inner diameter. The plurality of grooves includes an angled edge.
Orifice holder construction
An orifice holder assembly provides a boss connected by at least one arm to a base having an outlet therethrough. The boss is provided below the outlet. A tube is inserted through the boss until a bead contacts a first boss surface and the tube end is then deflected to form a lip where the lip and the bead connects the tube to the boss. An orifice body is then inserted in the tube end.
FIRE HYDRANT NOZZLE
A fire hydrant nozzle includes an annular sleeve, which has an annular wall, an inlet end, and an outlet end. The inlet end has a fire hydrant connection element extending from the inlet end and configured to couple with a fire hydrant outlet. The fire hydrant connection element has a portion protruding radially inward, the portion protruding radially inward configured to be moved with respect to the outlet end to connect with the fire hydrant outlet. Another embodiment includes an inlet end and an outlet end, the outlet end configured to couple with a fire hose, the inlet end having a fire hydrant connection element and a first portion with a wall thickness less than a wall thickness of the outlet end. The first portion of the inlet end is configured to be bent to facilitate movement of the fire hydrant connection element into connection with a fire hydrant.
FUEL SYSTEM INCLUDING REINFORCED FUEL CONNECTOR WITH RETAINING RINGS
A fuel connector of a fuel system is adapted to flow fuel, and includes male and female components. The male component includes a plurality of barbs each projecting radially outward, spaced axially from one-another and being circumferentially continuous. The female component includes a plurality of reinforcement rings being in a predefined axial relationship to the respective plurality of barbs when connected.
Garden hose with metal sheath
A garden hose with an outer flexible sheath of spirally wound and linked turns of sheet material, an inner tube of flexible polymer inside the sheath and end couplers with nipples press fit into ends of the tube and connector mechanisms connecting the couplers to the outer sheath. Each connector mechanism has inner and outer press fit shells at the end of the sheath, with flared ends separated by a washer.
PLUG ASSEMBLY FOR USE IN A VEHICLE
The invention relates to a plug assembly (1), in particular for use in a vehicle, comprising a tube (3), a sealing element (5) and a plug connector (4), which comprises a connector body (6), wherein the connector body (6) has an annulus (22) located between a first casing section (12) and a second casing section (15) of the plug connector (4), wherein a connection section (33) of the tube (3) is introduced into the annulus (22) of the connector body (6) and the sealing element (5) is arranged between the first casing section (12) and the connection section (33) of the tube (3). The first casing section (12) of the connector body (6) is deformed in such a way that an interlocking connection is established between a shaping region (56) of the first casing section (12) of the connector body (6) and the tube (3), wherein the sealing element (5) protrudes at least partially into the shaping region (56) of the first casing section (12), such that the sealing element (5) is clamped at least sectionally between the first casing section (12) and the tube (3).
Downhole expandable tubular members with sealed releasable connection
An apparatus for expanding tubular members in a wellbore, such as casing, liners, sand screens, or other expandable tubular members, includes a first downhole tubular member, a second downhole tubular member that is radially expandable, and a sealed releasable connection coupling the first and second downhole tubular members. The sealed releasable connection is configured to decouple the first and second downhole tubular members by expansion of the second downhole tubular member. The sealed releasable connection had a metal-to-metal seal formed between the first and second downhole tubular members.
