Sealing system for an annular space
A system for sealing an annular space between an inner wall of a tubular opening and one tube, cable or duct which extends through the tubular opening in the axial direction thereof, wherein the system comprises at least two segmental parts for forming a sealing plug in the annular space, each segmental part is made of an elastic material, each segmental part being provided with a small-diameter-end for facilitating insertion of the plug in the annular space and a large-diameter-end for positioning at the end of the tubular opening from which the segmental parts are inserted into the annular space, each segmental part further having a number of outer ribs spaced apart in a longitudinal direction for realizing, in use, circumferentially extending outer contact surfaces between the sealing plug and the inner wall of the opening, each segmental part further being provided with a number of inner ribs spaced apart in the longitudinal direction for realizing, in use, circumferentially extending inner contact surfaces which between the sealing plug and the tube, cable or duct.

Rotary joint for a high pressure fluid
The rotary joint for a high pressure fluid, comprising a stator body, a rotor body, a fluid seal interposed between the stator body and the rotor body, and a friction reducer interposed between the stator body and the rotor body, the friction reducer comprising at least a first plain bearing for sustaining axial loads, and at least a second plain bearing for sustaining bending loads, the first and second bearings being made of a polytetrafluoroethylene-based (PTFE) material.

QUICK CONNECTION CLAMPING HOOP
A quick connection clamping hoop, including an upper clamping hoop body and a lower clamping hoop body that are both in a semi-annular shape; where the upper clamping hoop body and the lower clamping hoop body each have one end as a plug connecting end and the other end as a connecting end; connecting ends of the upper clamping hoop body and the lower clamping hoop body each are provided with a lug, and the connecting ends of the two are connected together via a bolt passing through lugs; plug connecting ends of the two are connected together via a plug connecting mechanism disposed at the plug connecting ends of the two. A clamping hoop in this structure is assembled and connected to a pipe quickly, and is convenient for use, which can greatly improve production efficiency of the clamping hoop and efficiency of pipe connection.
Method of joining pipes and fittings with mechanical restraint members
A method for joining a first conduit section having a longitudinally extending open first end and an inner surface with a second conduit section having a longitudinally extending end and an outer surface is provided. The method comprises: a) inserting a first end of the second conduit section in the open first end of the first conduit section and forming a fluid tight seal between the first and second conduit sections; and, b) bonding at least a portion of the inner surface of the first conduit section to at least a portion of the outer surface of the second conduit section.
ENCAPSULATION SLEEVE GASKET ASSEMBLY WITH DETACHABLE INNER LAYER
A coupling assembly having first and second sleeves configured to be tightened to a fluid conduit, a radial-split gasket configured to be positioned between the sleeves and the fluid conduit and having an outer gasket layer and a separate inner gasket layer configured to be selectively disengaged from each other, the outer gasket layer having a radial gap defined by first and second radial side wall gap surfaces, the inner gasket layer having a radial gap and a radial insert configured to be received in the radial gap of the outer gasket layer between the first and second radial side wall gap surfaces.
QUICK COUPLING WITH MULTI-PIECE ELASTOMER SEAL
A novel sealing member and a novel wedging element that may be part of a novel seal assembly. The seal assembly may remain effective for more connection/disconnection cycles as compared to the previously known seals. In exemplary embodiments, the wedging element may engage the sealing member or a pair of the sealing members that sandwich the wedging element. When engaged, an inclined surface of the wedging element may radially compress a radially inwardly extending sealing leg of one or both of the sealing members. A fluid pressure opposite the wedging element relative to the corresponding sealing member may radially expand a radially outwardly extending sealing leg of one or both of the sealing members.
