Hammerless and Torqueless union Connection
The disclosed invention is a union connection common in connecting pipelines in various industries comprising a threaded female pipe end, a male pipe end insertable into the female pipe end to form a sealed connection, a plurality of shaped ring segments and a threaded collar in which the shaped ring segments are placed in a shaped groove on the male pipe and positioned in the threaded collar. The threaded female pipe end is then threaded onto the threaded collar, the threads each being clocked so as to press the collar against the male pipe using the ring segments and into a sealed connection with the female pipe. A pin inserted through a pin hole in the collar and into a pin recess in the female pipe end holds the parts in place. The pin hole and pin recess are positioned relative to the clocked threads of the collar and female pipe.
System, method and apparatus for in-line removable pipe assembly
A pipe restraining system has first and second pipes. Each pipe has an axis and a groove adjacent an axial end thereof. A bushing bridges and hydraulically seals with the first and second pipes. First and second clamp rings are removably attach the bushing to a respective one of the first and second pipes. When the pipe restraining system is assembled, axial tensile loads passing through the first pipe are transmitted through the first clamp ring, the bushing and the second clamp ring to the second pipe. An axial distance between the first and second pipes remains substantially constant.
THREADED TYPE VALVE CONNECTOR
A valve connector comprises a connecting member, a threaded member, a joint member, and first and second connection assemblies. The connecting member is inserted into a axial hole of threaded member to cause a abutting portion of the connecting member entering into the axial hole. The joint member forms two threaded sections at two opposite ends thereof. The two threaded sections are alternatively detachably connected to a threaded portion of the threaded member so that a first seal ring of the first connection assembly and a second seal ring of the second connection assembly are alternatively removably abutted against the abutting portion for connecting a Schrader valve and a Presta valve.
COLLET, DEVICES, AND METHODS FOR INSTALLATION OF FLUIDIC CONDUITS TO FLUIDIC COMPONENTS
A collet includes a cap, a conduit grasper, a collet bore, and a collet slot. The grasper is composed of a flexible material such that the grasper is compressible in response to an applied force. A conduit such as a column is installed in a fluidic component by passing the conduit through the collet and into a fluidic coupling device. The collet is then coupled to the fluidic coupling device so as to compress the grasper against the column, thereby securing the column in the fluidic coupling device. The conduit may then be inserted into the fluidic component, and fluidic coupling device may be coupled to the fluidic component to complete the conduit installation. The collet or at least the cap may then be removed by moving the collet or at least the cap around the column via the collet slot. The grasper may be removed via a grasper slot.
Shrouded Coupling
Couplings for joining pipe elements have segments with attachment members with faces which contact one another when the segments are properly installed on the pipe elements. Each segment has one or more shrouds and recesses positioned along the faces. The shrouds on one segment are received within respective recesses on the other segment. The shrouds block the line of sight toward the central space which the segments surround and which receives the pipe elements. Index markings on the segments show visual inspection points to confirm proper engagement between the segments and the pipe elements.
Capillary tube connection
A plug for connecting capillaries includes at least one capillary tube, at least one sealing, and at least one pressure piece. The capillary tube includes a first inner diameter and an open end section. The sealing includes a second inner diameter, a first end section and a shape adapted to seal the open end section of the capillary tube when connected. The pressure piece is adapted to exert at least axial pressure and/or force to at least a part of the sealing. The pressure piece is also adapted to host the first end section of the sealing in abutment with the open end section of the capillary tube so that the capillary tube and the sealing are aligned.
Metal garden hose with strain relief
A metal-shelled hose assembly includes a metal outer shell lined with a flexible, water-tight inner tubing integrated with a bendable strain-relief section that is configured to allow the metal-shelled hose to be pulled from a straight angle regardless of where it is attached. The bendable strain-relief section is provided at least at the faucet end of the hose, where it effectively changes the angle of the length of the metal hose relative to the faucet when the hose is pulled at an angle to the faucet.
JOINT STRUCTURE, JOINT UNIT AND ASSEMBLY METHOD OF JOINT UNIT
Provided is a joint structure comprising a main body, a tubular part that is formed in a tubular shape to protrude from the main body along an axis and holds an outer peripheral surface of the resin-made tube, and a protrusion that is formed in a shaft shape to protrude from the main body along the axis and forms, between the protrusion and the tubular part, an insertion groove in which the resin-made tube is inserted, the main body and the protrusion are formed with a coupling channel extending along the axis and coupling a liquid transferring channel and another channel, and a tip of the protrusion is disposed at a position closer to the main body than a tip of the tubular part.
ADJUSTABLE RISER SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
Example aspects of riser support assembly and a riser system are disclosed. The riser support assembly can comprise a riser support pipe comprising a cylindrical sidewall defining a first end, an opposing second end, and an intermediate portion extending therebetween; and a mount defining an arm and a pedestal, the arm extending from the intermediate portion of the cylindrical sidewall, the pedestal extending from the arm distal to the riser support pipe, the pedestal configured to engage a mounting surface.
MODULAR FILTRATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system for further filtering a liquid extract material after an initial extraction process. In an embodiment, the system includes a semi-rigid filter cup that is substantially cylindrical, the filter cup having a top and a bottom, wherein the top is oriented to receive filter media prior to a filtration process, and material to be filtered during the filtration process. The filter cup includes an integrated deformable flange at the top of the filter cup, an integrated top o-ring that is integrated into the top of the integrated deformable flange and an integrated bottom o-ring that is integrated into the bottom of the integrated deformable flange.
