Pipe-fitting
A pipe-fitting includes a coupling and a flexible pipe-restraint gasket. The coupling includes a bell that defines a pipe insertion mouth at an end of the coupling and an inner recess. The flexible pipe-restraint gasket assembly is disposed within the inner recess and includes an annular body, a plurality of discrete gripping members and at least one extension portion. The plurality of gripping members are disposed around an outer periphery of the body. The at least one extension portion extends from the body and is disposed between a pair of the plurality of gripping members. The at least one extension portion defines a pocket.
WIDE RANGE COUPLING
A coupling includes a body defining a first body end, the body defining a body bore extending into the first body end, the body bore defining an axis; and a joint restraint assembly including a restraint base coupled to the body, the restraint base defining a restraint pocket; a gripper disposed within the restraint pocket, the gripper configured to rotate within the restraint pocket to engage a pipe end of a pipe length when the pipe end is inserted into the body bore; and a spring engaging the gripper, the spring biasing the gripper inwards towards the axis.
Showerhead adapter
A shower head adapter includes a body part, which has one side connected to the inner circumferential surface of the inlet side of a main shower head body and the other side connected to a hose. The shower head adapter also includes a first circular groove formed along the outer circumferential surface thereof and a main body connecting part, which has an end on the other side protruding inwards from the inner circumferential surface thereof. A part of the inner circumferential surface is coupled to the outer circumferential surface of the inlet side of the main shower head body. A snap ring is inserted in the first circular groove. The diameter of the outer circumferential surface of the snap ring is larger than the diameter of the protruding inner circumferential surface of the main body connecting part.
Duct Coupler for Use with Ducts in a Wet Joint of Segmental Concrete Construction
A duct coupling system has a first concrete segment, a first duct positioned in the first concrete segment so as to have an end extending outwardly therefrom, a second concrete segment, a second duct positioned in the second concrete segment so as to have an end extending outwardly therefrom in a direction toward the end of the first duct, and a tubular member slidably positioned over the ends of the first and second ducts so as to join the first and second ducts together in a liquid-tight relationship. The first concrete segment is positioned in spaced relation to the second concrete segment. A wet joint is formed in the space between the first concrete segment and the second concrete segment. The tubular member is embedded in the wet joint.
Wide range coupling
A wide range coupling includes a body, the body defining a first body end and a second body end, the body defining a body bore extending through the body from the first body end to the second body end, the body bore defining an axis, the body defining a body shoulder disposed at the first body end, the body shoulder extending radially inward into the body bore; and an end ring, the end ring positioned over the first body end, the end ring defining a ring shoulder extending radially inward towards the body; and a gasket connected to the end ring, the gasket disposed within the body bore, the end ring and the gasket configured to axially travel along the axis relative to the body, the end ring and the gasket selectively positionable about and between an engaged position and a disengaged position.
Pipe coupling capsulation assembly with retaining elements
A pipe coupling capsulation assembly includes a band having an inner annular seal element wrappable around a pipe, opposing clamp members that extend from the band, at least one tightening element for clamping together the clamp members, and a plurality of retaining elements extending from the band. Each retaining element overlies a portion of an adjacent one of the retaining elements.
Hydrant adapter with stainless drain
Provided is an adapter and a method of making the same. The adapter includes threads to connect a fire hydrant to one end of a fire hydrant elbow having a different scale than the fire hydrant, the fire hydrant elbow being connected at a second end to an underground water pipe. The adapter also includes at least one stainless steel tube extending at a first end thereof from a corresponding at least one port hole formed through a lower end of an inner surface of the adapter and a second end thereof extending through a corresponding at least one port hole formed through an approximate middle portion of an outer surface of the adapter. The corresponding port holes through the inner surface of the adapter and the outer surface of the adapter being in vertical alignment.
Terminal component for plumbing configuration
A terminal portion for sealing an end of a conduit includes a body including a first end having a first diameter and a second end having a second diameter, the first diameter having a smaller size than the second diameter. The terminal portion further includes an internal ring disposed over and around the first end of the body, and a sleeve disposed over the body and the internal ring. The sleeve is structured to contain an outer portion of the end of the conduit and is dimensioned to accommodate the first end of the body and the conduit. At least one inner sleeve contained in the sleeve houses the body.
High temperature leak prevention for piping components and connections
A connection socket for a tubular connection that includes: a socket cup having a metal alloy composition and a sealing portion, the sealing portion comprises a primary and a secondary sealing recess; a primary seal positioned within the primary sealing recess, the primary seal comprising an elastomeric material having a service temperature, and a secondary seal positioned within the secondary sealing recess, the secondary seal comprising a metal composition.
