FEATURE FOR SAFEGUARDING FASTENER CLAMP-LOAD ON METAL SEAL
20230059749 · 2023-02-23 ·

A block fitting assembly includes a first block, a second block, and a first sealing element disposed between the first block and the second block. A clamping device applies a clamping force for compressing the first sealing element between the first block and the second block in an axial direction of the block fitting assembly. A first heel structure projects axially from one of the first block or the second block and projects towards the other of the first block or the second block. The first heel structure is configured to be spaced apart from or to contact the other of the first block or the second block depending on a temperature of the first block.

JOINT PIPE

[Problem] To provide a pipe joint allowing reliable connection to a pipe P without flaring.

[Means of solving problem] The pipe joint includes a flare joint body 1F, a cap nut 2, and a stop ring 3. A curved pressure-contacting slope surface 32 of the stop ring 3 contacts a slope surface 5 with reduced-diameter tip of the flare joint body 1F under pressure to establish sealing by means of mutual contact between metallic surfaces. The pipe P is grasped in a tightly pressure-contacting state using a back tooth and a front tooth formed at a tip head 37 of a substantially cylindrical thin part 35 of the stop ring 3.

In a pipe joint, a spigot is inserted into a socket; a lock ring is accommodated in a lock ring-accommodating groove formed in the inner circumference of the socket; and an engaging part formed in the outer circumference of the spigot, wherein the engaging part engages with the lock ring from a back side of the socket in a separation direction A of the spigot, thereby preventing the spigot from separating from the socket. The engaging part is formed at a position receding from a distal end of the spigot in the separation direction A of the spigot. A bending suppressing member for restricting the socket and the spigot in a bending direction C is provided between the inner circumference of the socket and the outer circumference of the spigot in the range between the distal end of the spigot and the engaging part.

PIPE COUPLING
20220349505 · 2022-11-03 ·

A pipe coupling comprising a housing with a receiving space for a pipe section, with fixing members for releasably fixing the pipe section in the housing, and a sealing element which is arranged in the receiving space and is designed to surround the free end of the pipe section received in the receiving space on the outer circumferential side and thereby seal the interface between the housing and the pipe section in a fluid-tight manner. The pipe coupling is characterized in that the sealing element is designed in the form of a sleeve with a first and a second free end, in that a bulge is provided at the first free end, and in that a tubular section protrudes from the bulge and forms the second free end on the edge side.
