Device for coupling two tubes with pre-assembly
The device includes a sealing sleeve suitable for being disposed around the facing ends of two tubes and a clamping sleeve inside which the sealing sleeve extends. One of the elements constituted by the sealing sleeve and by the clamping sleeve has at least one retaining member suitable for co-operating in axial retention inside the clamping sleeve with a retaining surface of one of the tubes, which retaining surface is covered by the clamping sleeve.
Pre-assembled pipe coupling with an insertion boundary for axial receipt of pipe ends
A pre-assembled pipe coupling (10) includes a gasket (200), a housing (12) surrounding the gasket, and a fastener (20). The housing has three segments sequentially coupled to each other to define an insertion boundary (11). A bridge segment (12c) has a first mount (18) extending lateral from the wall and having a plurality of first lateral walls defining a first aperture (22) and a second mount (18) having a plurality of second lateral walls defining a second aperture (22). A first clamp segment (12a) has a first hook (14) disposed in the first aperture. A second clamp segment (12b) has a second hook (14) disposed in the second aperture. The fastener is disposed through the first fastener aperture and the second fastener aperture. The fastener has an adjusted length at which the first clamp segment grips the gasket, and the second clamp segment grips the gasket to locate the first sealing lip and the second sealing lip within the insertion boundary.
Adjustable riser support assembly
Example aspects of riser support assembly and a riser system are disclosed. The riser support assembly can comprise a riser support pipe comprising a cylindrical sidewall defining a first end, an opposing second end, and an intermediate portion extending therebetween; and a mount defining an arm and a pedestal, the arm extending from the intermediate portion of the cylindrical sidewall, the pedestal extending from the arm distal to the riser support pipe, the pedestal configured to engage a mounting surface.
PIPE DETACHMENT PREVENTING DEVICE FOR UNION NUT PIPE FITTING
Provided is a pipe detachment preventing device, for a union nut pipe fitting, which can omit an inner core and which can prevent detachment of a pipe from a pipe fitting even when a large pulling force which stretches the pipe acts. Connection holding means (7) includes an inclination mechanism (8) configured to incline a retaining ring (4A) in a pipe axis direction (X) with respect to a reference plane (P) orthogonal to a central axis (C) of a retaining ring body (40), such that one of a circumferential center portion (40y) and a circumferential end portion (40x) of a retaining ring body (40A) is caused to be closer to a fitting body (2) and the other is moved away from the fitting body (2), when first protruding portions (41) and first facing portions (55) come into contact with each other and a pipe pulling force which stretches a joint pipe (100) is applied to the joint pipe (100).
PIPE RETAINING DEVICE FOR PIPE FITTING
Provided is a pipe retaining device, for a pipe fitting, which has a simple structure but is capable of further improving a detachment preventing force for a pipe without inserting an inner core. The pipe retaining device includes an inclination mechanism (7) configured to incline a retaining ring (3A) in a pipe axis direction with respect to a reference plane (P) orthogonal to a central axis of a ring body (30A), such that each circumferential end portion (30x) of the ring body (30A) is caused to be closer to a fitting body (2) and a circumferential center portion (30y) of the ring body (30A) is moved away from the fitting body (2), when each retaining ring connecting portion (32) and each facing portion (54) come into contact with each other. A first surface (56), facing the retaining ring connecting portion (32), of each facing portion (54) is parallel to a reference plane P. Respective second surfaces (34a, 34b), facing the facing portion (54), of a plurality of the retaining ring connecting portions (32) are located within the same inclined plane (PI) inclined in the pipe axis direction with respect to the reference plane (P). An interval (B) between the first surface (56) and the inclined plane (PI) becomes larger from the circumferential end portions (30x) toward the circumferential center portion (30y).
Angled threaded rod coupling having mountable pass through coupler
Angled coupling including main pass-through coupler to allow first threaded rod to pass therethrough and second coupling extending at angle therefrom to receive second threaded rod. Angled coupling can be used for multiple purposes including, but not limited to, adjusting location of threaded rod, seismic restraints, storm surge restraints and/or providing additional mounting points for support members. Main coupler is configured to be secured to any location on first threaded rod without requiring it to be screwed onto first threaded rod. Main coupler may include first half and second half each traversing length thereof, that can be secured together at desired location on first threaded rod. Main coupler may include upper section having first approximately half of body thereof and corresponding threads and lower section having second approximately half of body (opposite first half) and corresponding threads. Angled coupling is made of high strength material (e.g., steel, cast iron, composites).
