V-band clamp
A V-band clamp includes first and second clamp sections each having an arcuate shape with a first end, a second end, and inside surface defining a recessed channel. A hinge pivotably connects the second end of the first clamp section to the first end of the second clamp section. At least one fastener is configured to releasably connect the first end of the first clamp section to the second end of the second clamp section in a closed position. When the V-band clamp is in the closed position, each fastener extends through an opening in an end face on the first end of the first clamp section and into a bore in an end face on the second end of the second clamp section.
Hooked pipe coupling segment
A pipe coupling segment includes an arcuate body portion defining a first end, a second end opposite the first end, a first axial side, and a second axial side opposite the first axial side; a hook extending from the first end of the arcuate body portion, wherein the hook defines a shank portion and a bend portion, the shank portion extending in a substantially radially outward direction from the arcuate body portion and the bend portion extending in a substantially axial direction from the shank portion, the bend portion defining an upper engagement surface, the upper engagement surface defining a sloped portion angled rearwardly towards the shank portion; and a fastener lug extending from the second end of the arcuate body portion.
PRE-ASSEMBLED PIPE COUPLING WITH MANUALLY MANIPULATABLE SEGMENTS
A pre-assembled pipe coupling includes a gasket, a housing surrounding the gasket, and a fastener. The housing has three segments sequentially coupled to each other to define an insertion boundary. A first segment includes a first mount extending lateral in a first direction from the wall and having a plurality of first lateral walls that define a first aperture, and a second mount extending laterally in a second direction from the wall, the second mount having a plurality of second lateral walls that define a second aperture. A second segment includes a first hook disposed in the first aperture and a first tab defining a first fastener aperture. A third segment includes a second hook disposed in the second aperture and a second tab defining a second fastener aperture. The fastener is disposed through the first fastener aperture and the second fastener aperture.
Clamping seat of telescopic rod
A clamping seat includes a pipe seat, a movable clamp and a fixed clamp. The pipe seat includes an inner pipe space and an outer pipe space to insert the inner pipe and the outer pipe. The pipe seat includes a side opening beside the inner pipe space and a side space beside the outer pipe space. The movable clamp includes an arc block beside the side opening, and a screwing member pressing the arc block into the inner pipe space then to press and fix the inner pipe. The fixed clamp includes a clamping plate in the side space, and a tightening bolt pressing the pipe seat against the clamping plate, allowing the clamping plate to press the outer pipe.
Pipe detachment preventing device for union nut pipe fitting
Provided is a pipe detachment preventing device, for a union nut pipe fitting, which can omit an inner core and which can prevent detachment of a pipe from a pipe fitting even when a large pulling force which stretches the pipe acts. Connection holding means (7) includes an inclination mechanism (8) configured to incline a retaining ring (4A) in a pipe axis direction (X) with respect to a reference plane (P) orthogonal to a central axis (C) of a retaining ring body (40), such that one of a circumferential center portion (40y) and a circumferential end portion (40x) of a retaining ring body (40A) is caused to be closer to a fitting body (2) and the other is moved away from the fitting body (2), when first protruding portions (41) and first facing portions (55) come into contact with each other and a pipe pulling force which stretches a joint pipe (100) is applied to the joint pipe (100).
COUPLING GASKET WITH MULTIPLE SEALING SURFACES
A coupling sized for use with a pipe having a pipe outer diameter, the coupling including a pair of segments; and a gasket positioned between the pair of segments, the gasket including an annular body; and a pair of sealing ribs each extending substantially radially inwardly from the annular body, each sealing rib of the pair of sealing ribs defining a cylindrical sealing surface at an innermost radial extent in an uncompressed state, the cylindrical sealing surfaces each defining an inner gasket diameter that is larger than the pipe outer diameter when the gasket is in the uncompressed state.
RISER SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
A riser support assembly includes a riser support pipe comprising a sidewall defining a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and an intermediate portion extending therebetween, the intermediate portion configured to extend through an elevated support structure; and a mount extending from the sidewall, the mount configured to engage a mounting surface of the elevated support structure to support the riser support assembly on the mounting surface.
PIVOT CLIP
A pivot clip includes a substantially planar body defining an outside edge and an inside edge opposite the outside edge, the inside edge partially defining a notch; and a pair of arms extending from the inside edge, the notch formed between the pair of arms, the pair of arms angled relative to the substantially planar body such that the pair of arms are noncoplanar with the substantially planar body.
METHOD OF COUPLING TWO PIPES
A method of coupling two pipes includes fastening two coupling segments into an untightened configuration, the two coupling segments comprising a first segment and a second segment, the first segment comprising a first end and a second end distal to the first end, the second segment comprising a first end and a second end distal to the first end, wherein fastening the two coupling segments comprises: placing a pivot clip between the second end of the first segment and the first end of the second segment, the pivot clip configured to maintain a separation distance between the second end of the first segment and the first end of the second segment; and tightening a first tightening element to draw the second end of the first segment towards the first end of the second segment; and placing ends of the two pipes between the two coupling segments.
COUPLING SEGMENT WITH MONOLITHIC PIVOT
A coupling segment includes an arcuate segment body defining a first end and a second end opposite the first end; a first shoulder that is formed proximate to the first end and comprises a first fastener pad extending outwardly from the arcuate segment body, the first shoulder further defining an interior edge; and a first pivot extending from the first shoulder at the interior edge, wherein the first pivot is cast monolithically with the arcuate segment body and the first shoulder.
