CLAMPING SYSTEM FOR CONNECTING TUBES, COMPRISING A COLLAR AND A SEAL
The clamping system is used to connect a first and a second tube whose facing ends have bearing surfaces protruding relative to their cylindrical external surface. The clamping system has a clampable collar and a seal. The collar includes a belt able to cooperate with the bearing surfaces of the tubes by this internal periphery delimiting a recess into which the bearing surfaces can be inserted. The seal is supported by the collar in the unclamped state of the latter and has an annular sealing portion which includes a metal washer and a non-metal based washer fixed to the metal washer. The metal washer can carry support lugs to support the washers relative to the collar.

PROFILE CLAMP FOR CONNECTING TWO TUBULAR BODIES
The disclosure relates to a profile clamp for connecting two tubular bodies, wherein: the profile clamp has a clamp band having a profile cross-section that is open on the radially inner side; the clamp band, at at least one end, has a first transition portion and an adjoining, radially protruding clamping portion; and the clamping element can be clamped in the circumferential direction in order to tighten the profile clamp. A width of a base of the profile cross-section evenly increases from the end of the first transition portion facing away from the clamping element to the clamping element.

Pipe coupling construction, and coupling
A pipe coupling construction which can be used for coupling of a high-pressure pipe includes an inner bush of a non-metallic material and an outer bush, which bushes in axial section have parts which mesh with each other in order to transmit axial forces. The inner bush can be fused or adhered to an outer cover layer of the pipe. The coupling has a metal sleeve construction. The outer bush has an outer bush protruding end which protrudes with respect to the inner bush and the metal sleeve construction is at least partially located within the outer bush protruding end. The metal sleeve construction and outer bush in axial section have parts which mesh with each other.

FLEXIBLE HOSE END FITTING ASSEMBLY
A flexible hose end fitting assembly includes a first portion defining a first fluid passageway and having a first end configured for coupling to a fluid conduit, a second portion defining a second fluid passageway and having a first end configured for coupling to a second end of the first portion and a second end configured for securely affixed to a flexible hose. A gasket is disposed in a groove formed in an interface between the first portion and the first end of the second portion of the assembly, and the first portion and the first end of the second portion of the assembly are securely fastened together by a plurality of threaded fasteners to form a continuous fluid passageway between the fluid conduit and the flexible hose. Preassembled Coupling Having a Seal
A preassembled coupling for joining pipe elements has segments surrounding a central space with cusps which engage lobes of a seal to maintain the segments in spaced apart relation in a preassembled state. While the coupling is in the preassembled state the pipe elements may be inserted into the central space without disassembling the coupling, and portions of the seal adjacent to attachment members on the segments seat within a channel defined by the segments between the cusps, while portions of the seal between the attachment members are further from a back surface of the channel.
CLAMP COUPLING AND METHOD OF FASTENING THE SAME
A clamp coupling includes clamp segments and a connecting section including a fastening section and a contact section. The contact section connects the clamp segments and includes a changing means to change a spaced distance between the clamp segments. The fastening section includes an externally threaded body and an internally threaded body for holding the clamp segments thereby to reduce the spaced distance between the clamp segments and connect objects. A method of fastening the clamp coupling includes holding the shim in the contact section between one ends of the clamp segments in a case that adjustment is made so that a circumferential length of the clamp segments is increased and removing the shim from the contact section so that the clamp segments are brought into direct contact with each other in a case that adjustment is made so that the circumferential length of the clamp segments is shortened.
