FLEXIBLE CONDUIT FOR AN AGRICULTURAL SYSTEM

A conduit for an agricultural system includes a first end configured to couple to a metering system, a second end configured to couple to a pipe, one or more bellows disposed adjacent to the second end and configured to enable the conduit to flex adjacent to the second end, and a substantially rigid portion extending generally longitudinally from the first end to the one or more bellows, where the substantially rigid portion substantially rigidly supports the conduit between the first end and the one or more bellows.

The invention provides a bellows capable of absorbing torsion having a first end; a second end opposite to the first end; and a plurality of tubes, each of which is hollow and wound around a longitudinal axis while extending from the first end to the second end, where the plurality of tubes are communicated with each other all along the longitudinal length of the bellows so as to form a bore between the first end and the second end. Also provided is a bellows assembly having at least two sections, each section having a plurality of tubes, each of which is hollow and wound around a longitudinal axis and thus form a bore, where the plurality of sections are connected with each other so that their bores are communicated.

Clamped joint device

A tubular seal is formed of an elastic material and equipped on the outer periphery of a first tube. A second tube is inserted in the tubular seal and connected with the first tube via the tubular seal. A clamp is in a strap shape formed of a metallic material and is attached on an outer periphery of the tubular seal. The second tube or the clamp has a tab, which is protruded in a radial direction. The tubular seal has a slit extending in the radial direction. The tab is engaged with and latched on the slit.

Clamped joint device

A tubular seal is formed of an elastic material and equipped on the outer periphery of a first tube. A second tube is inserted in the tubular seal and connected with the first tube via the tubular seal. A clamp is in a strap shape formed of a metallic material and is attached on an outer periphery of the tubular seal. The second tube or the clamp has a tab, which is protruded in a radial direction. The tubular seal has a slit extending in the radial direction. The tab is engaged with and latched on the slit.
