FLUID TRANSPORT DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING AND DISASSEMBLING A FLUID TRANSPORT DEVICE
A fluid transport device including a first line connector, second line connector and inner line component that fluidly connects the first line connector to the second line connector via respective first and second coupling ends. In a mounted state, an outer line component of the device is attached to the first line connector and to the second line connector, so the outer line component covers the first and second coupling ends. In a demounted state, the outer line component is detached from the first and second line connector, wherein the outer line component is movable relative to the inner line component to uncover the first coupling end or the second coupling end. A method for assembling and disassembling a fluid transport device is also disclosed.
Telescopic tube assembly having a fixing structure
A telescopic tube assembly having a fixing structure, including: a first tube having at a receiving end offset toward a predetermined direction to form an inward offset arc portion and an outward arc portion opposite to each other; a second tube having an inserting end, wherein an inner diameter of the first tube is greater than an outer diameter of the second tube; and a fastening structure disposed at the receiving end of the first tube, wherein the inserting end of the second tube is inserted into the first tube through the receiving end; by locking the fastening structure, the second tube is pushed against the inward offset arc portion and fixed with the first tube; by loosening the fastening structure, the second tube is released from the inward offset arc portion and is movable relative to the first tube.
Behavior inspection apparatus and behavior inspection method for extensible flexible pipe joint
A behavior inspection apparatus includes: a first measurement tool group including a set of first measurement tools each of which measures a first distance change amount that is a change amount of a distance between a first pipe position in the first pipe and a first reference position of a sleeve of the extensible flexible pipe joint; and a second measurement tool group including a set of second measurement tools each of which measures a second distance change amount that is a change amount of a distance between a second pipe poison in the second pipe and a second reference position of the sleeve. The first and second measurement tools are arranged at different positions in a circumferential direction of the sleeve. Displacement positions of the first and second pipes with respect to the joint are computed based on the measurement data by the first and second measurement tool groups.
Feedback bulkhead connector assembly
An exemplary bulkhead (104A) connector assembly (100) includes a housing (106) having a first opening (138) and a second opening (130). The assembly (100) may further include a collar (108) that has a portion received within one of the first and second openings. The collar (108) may be rotatable to a latched position to hold a conduit (104B) within the housing (106). Further, the assembly (100) may have a detent (118) holding the collar (108) in the latched position when the detent (118) is moved to a locked position. The detent (118) in the locked position may have an indicator surface (112) providing tactile feedback indicative of the detent (118) holding the collar (108) in the latched position.
Extendable hose coupler
An extendable hose coupler having an outer tube having a first end and a second end, and an inner tube having a first end and a second end, wherein the inner tube and first end of the inner tube is positioned within the outer tube, and the inner tube is slidable within the outer tube to provide a varying distance between ends of the inner and outer tubes to provide the extendable hose coupler with an adjustable length, a connector having a first end positioned over an end of the outer tube and a second end positioned over the inner tube, wherein the connector is tightly secured to the inner and outer tubes. A method of providing an extendable hose coupler having a variable length is also provided.
Seismic slip joint, seismic-mitigating piping system, and method of mitigating seismic effects on a piping system
A seismic slip joint may include a fixed sealing surface, a moveable sealing surface, and a solenoid device. The moveable sealing surface is configured to engage the fixed sealing surface to form a sealing interface during a deactivated state. The sealing interface may be a juncture that precludes passage of a fluid therethrough. The solenoid device is configured to switch between the deactivated state and an activated state. The solenoid device may include a piston and a spring structure. The piston is connected to the moveable sealing surface. The spring structure exerts a force on the piston so as to press the moveable sealing surface against the fixed sealing surface to form the sealing interface during the deactivated state. The piston may be configured to compress the spring structure and retract during the activated state so as to separate the moveable sealing surface from the fixed sealing surface.
