LOCATOR SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR HOSE CLAMPS
Illustrative embodiments of locator systems and methods for hose clamps are disclosed. In at least one embodiment, a locator tab for a hose clamp includes a main body, a clamp end, and at least one flange. The main body includes a crossbar having opposing first and second ends, a first leg extending from the first end, and a second leg extending from the second end. The clamp end extends from the main body and is configured to be secured to a hose. The at least one flange extends from the main body and is configured to retain a band of the hose clamp between the at least one flange and the crossbar until the band is tightened around the hose. The crossbar is non-parallel to the band when the band is retained between the at least one flange and the crossbar.
A HOSE CLAMP
A hose clamp developed for hose structures used in many fields particularly in the automotive sector. The hose clamp includes a clamp band which surrounds the hose, a clamp housing which engages both ends of said clamp band, at least one positioner clip which limits radial and axial motion of the hose clamp on the hose, a wing with springy feature which is located on the positioner clip and allows diameter reduction of the hose clamp, a structure which couples the positioner clip to the hose by a plurality of serrations and does damage the hose.
Hose clamp apparatus
A hose clamp apparatus that is configured to provide operable coupling with a second hose clamp apparatus so as to maintain an adjacent position with each other on a hose. The hose clamp apparatus of the present invention includes a band member operably coupled to an adjustment mechanism disposed within a housing. The housing includes a first side and a second side. Mounted to the first side of the housing is a first keeper. Secured to the second side of the housing is a second keeper. The first keeper and second keeper are configured to be mateably coupled so as to operably couple a first hose clamp apparatus with a second hose clamp apparatus. The first keeper and second keeper each have a first portion that extends outward from the housing. Engagement members are located at opposing ends of the housing and are operably coupled to the adjustment mechanism.
Positioning device for a spring clamp
The disclosure relates to a spring clamp, having a clamp band and a positioning device for pre-positioning the spring clamp on a hose end of a hose. The positioning device having a support band and a contact region, and the support band having. The positioner having a fixing means arranged at the end of the support band, and the support band having a retainer at another end of the support band. A web is formed in the support band between the contact region and the positioner. The support band has at least two regions in the region of the positioner, the first region extending from the web away from the clamp band and the second region extending substantially perpendicularly from the first region.

Locator systems and methods for hose clamps
Locator systems and methods for hose clamps include at least one a locator tab. Each locator tab includes a main body, a clamp end, and at least one flange.
Air filter for turbochargers and superchargers
An apparatus and a method are provided for an air filter configured to be mounted onto air inlets of turbochargers and superchargers. The air filter comprises a proximal base including an inlet receiver configured to receive an air inlet, a clamp to secure the air inlet within the inlet receiver, and a first opening aligned with a screw mechanism of the clamp. A filter medium fastened to the proximal base is configured to remove particulate matter and other contaminates from an incoming air stream. A distal end cap fastened to the filter medium comprises a second opening aligned with the first opening. A conduit within an interior cavity of the air filter is disposed between the first opening and the second opening, facilitating tightening and loosening the clamp by extending an appropriate tool through the interior cavity so as to engage the screw mechanism of the clamp.
Clamp assemblies and methods
An improved hose clamp having an annular band having an inner face, tensioning means, and an annular spring liner; the spring liner having a circumferential shoulder near an edge of the liner; and a central, cylindrical, flat contact portion of smaller circumference than the shoulder, and of smaller width than the inner face of the band. The shoulder is adapted to abut the inner face and the contact portion is adapted to contact a hose or other article to be clamped.

Hose clamp
A hose clamp includes a clamping strip and a tightening device for tightening the clamping strip. A first clip element that is arranged on the clamping strip allows the hose clamp to be secured to a hose at an axially defined distance from a hose end. A second clip element that is arranged on the clamping strip places the clamping strip at a distance (A) from the outer surface of the hose.
