FLUID-TIGHT HOSE CONNECTION
A fluid-tight hose connection for a surgical instrument including: a hose having an inner hose and an outer protective hose surrounding the inner hose, wherein the inner hose has a coiled hose portion at an end portion of the hose; and a sleeve having a wedge-shape in a longitudinal section, the sleeve being arranged between the coiled hose portion of the inner hose and the outer protective hose.
REMANUFACTURED HYDRAULIC CYLINDER AND CYLINDER COUPLER THEREFOR
A convertible hose connector assembly includes a clamping nut, a crimp sleeve, a hose insert, and a replacement pipe. The crimp sleeve is coupled to the hose insert and the hose insert is coupled to the replacement pipe. The replacement pipe replaces a coupler coupled to a convertible top hydraulic cylinder prior to being remanufactured to produce a remanufactured convertible top hydraulic cylinder. The remanufactured convertible top hydraulic cylinder including at least one of the hose connector assembly.
PIPE LINER END TERMINATION
An end termination assembly for a pipe liner includes a liner fitting and a clamping collar. The liner fitting has a nipple. The clamping collar can be disposed on the nipple to clamp the liner between the two components. A clamping surface of one or both of the nipple and clamping collar can be tapered to accommodate a range of liner wall thicknesses. The clamping collar can connect to the nipple without rotating. For example, a draw mechanism can draw the clamping collar along pipe liner to clamp the liner between collar and the nipple. The clamping collar and the nipple define an annular space in which a pipe liner can be clamped, and the radial thickness of the annular space is different at different positions of the collar.
End Fitting for a Pipe and Associated Methods
There is provided an end fitting for connecting two sections of pipe to one another, the end fitting comprising a first tubular member, and a second tubular member disposed coaxially about the first tubular member to delimit an annular gap therebetween for receiving an end portion of a pipe. A sleeve is disposed coaxially about the first tubular member and within the annular gap such that a pressurised medium is receivable between the sleeve and one of first and second tubular members to move at least a portion of the sleeve radially and thereby clamp the end portion of the pipe between the first and second tubular members when received in the annular gap. The end fitting may have particular application in conveying oil and gas field fluids, including hydrocarbon fluids.
Device for reel-less spooling of hoses, flexible pipes and cables
A winding assistance device for tubular members having a first cuff including an elongate body defining a first cuff longitudinal axis, the elongate body of the first cuff having a C-shaped transverse cross-sectional profile defining a radially facing opening, where the opening of the first cuff defines a first cuff entry axis extending orthogonally from the first cuff longitudinal axis and bisecting a width of the opening of the first cuff; and a second cuff including an elongate body defining a second cuff longitudinal axis, the elongate body of the second cuff having a C-shaped transverse cross-sectional profile defining a radially facing opening therealong. The opening of the second cuff defines a second cuff entry axis extending orthogonally from the second cuff longitudinal axis and bisecting a width of the opening of the second cuff. The first cuff and the second cuff are secured to each other.

The opening of the second cuff defines a second cuff entry axis extending orthogonally from the second cuff longitudinal axis and bisecting a width of the opening of the second cuff. The first cuff and the second cuff are secured to each other.
CONNECTING DEVICE
A connecting device for connecting two or more components to one another, includes an inlet section and an outlet section. The inlet section and the outlet section respectively include one or more connectors for each of the two or more components, with one or more passages extending between the inlet section and the outlet section, with the connecting device being of single piece design and being plastic
Joining Metal Fittings to a Polymer Composite Pipe
A fitting is attached to a composite pipe by inserting a tubular root portion of the fitting into an end of the pipe and then tensioning longitudinally-extending tensile elements distributed around the fitting. This moves an outer wedge component of the fitting longitudinally relative to the pipe to force an opposed inner wedge formation radially inwardly toward the roof portion, clamping the fitting to the pipe. The fitting may be an end fitting to enable the pipe to be joined to another pipe or conduit, or may be an in-line fitting used to join two lengths of pipe end-to-end.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR REEL-LESS SPOOLING OF HOSES, FLEXIBLE PIPES AND CABLES
HOSE ENDING, MAINLY AS CONNECTING ELEMENT
Hose has a body (3) and a mouthpiece (1) connected with the body (3). The mouthpiece (1) is slidably placed against the body (3); it is designed for mounting of the end of the hose and it has a thickening (2). The ending has a circumferential stop (4) placed in the axis of the mouthpiece (1), whereby the stop (4) has on its circumference a touch surface which is oriented inside, against the thickening (2) on the mouthpiece (1). The mouthpiece (1) can be sealed by sealing ring (7) against the body (3), whereby the ring (7) is placed in the sealing zone (9), or the mouthpiece (1) can be connected with the body (3) by a flexible bellow. During the movement of the mouthpiece (1) outside the touch surface of the stop (4) and the outer surface of the hose in the zone with the thickening (2) draw closer and the hose is held on the mouthpiece (1) by the underpressure between the surface of the stop (4) and the thickening (2). The increasing pressure in the hose increases the underpressure of the hose on the mouthpiece (1 ) which increases the sealing effect of the joint.
